Designing and developing standard planning methodology and project control system. Determining methods of schedule development, schedule management, schedule control and reporting. Guiding planning engineers on right direction and coordinating with project management team. System implementation for project communication, data collection, data storing, information circulation within project team members. Developing master programmes, baselines, recovery and revised programmes.
Reviewing subcontractors’ work programmes, progress reports, updates and submittals. Project monitoring and controlling. Identifying and determining project risks and providing risk mitigation plans.
Determining delays using time impact analysis (TIA) and assessing the delays for extension of time (EOT) & prolongation cost. Identifying contractual circumstances to recover penalty for delays (LD) - reviewing and preparing for counter claims. Dealing with variations, changer order instructions (COI) & changer order requests (COR). Liaising with third parties of claims for property damages. Leading team in the analysis and preparation of a complex construction claims. Reporting where necessary.
Taking Lead in project planning, schedule development and schedule management & control. Integrating programme requirements and constraints to establish logical work sequences for assigned disciplines or specialties. Establishing guideline that help plan and schedule projects in well-defined sequence.
Preparing baseline programmes, EOT based on time impact analysis, revised programme. Progress updates and reports
Developing an integrated plan that help project team effectively execute the scope of works to meet the project requirements. Coordinating with project management. Analyzing the schedule trends, determining risks and developing options for corrective actions. Controlling project team in line with time, cost and performance to achieve the project specific milestones. Attending progress meeting. Liaising with clients & local government authorities
Planning and scheduling, monitoring and reporting Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives
Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract documents issued by the client
Liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
Liaising with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws
Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site
Preparing reports as required
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems
