and logs receipt of data. Transcribes source data into the
required electronic format. Transfers information from paper
formats into computer files using keyboards, data recorders, or
optical scanners
Answer incoming calls from customers, Patient scheduling
Resolving customer complaints, patient intake paperwork,
setting appointments, sending and receiving correspondence,
data entry, and maintaining referral files. They are often also
responsible for reviewing submitted documents to make sure
they have the proper information for billing purposes.
