Accomplishments:
• Support daily operations in equipment and mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving equipment/ mechanical issues, leading continuous improvement and cost reduction to achieve project requirements for safety, quality, delivery, selects, uptime, throughput, and cost.
Accountabilities:
• Supervising and assuming overall responsibility of technical support to govern the entire operation/functioning of equipment.
• Overseeing installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
• Investigating equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations.
• Demonstrating hands-on role involving a mix of operating equipment, calibrating instruments and maintaining and managing systems to control the project operations and maximize output.
• Researching, evaluating and recommending new products, parts and equipment upgrades that meet project needs and preferences.
• Providing technical support to disassemble and reassemble machines to repair or replace worn or malfunctioning components and consumables.
Accomplishments & Accountabilities:
• Inspected and identified defective/broken parts on all sizes and types of Caterpillar Motors as well as made repairs to diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of caterpillar equipment in a challenging and demanding environment.
• Performed regular repairs and maintenance of hydraulic pumps & valves, and possess the ability to work on types of vehicles.
• Responsible for the technical service & operations and rebuilding diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, chassis and arranging spare parts.
• Disassembled and reassembled machines to repair or replace worn or malfunctioning components and consumables.
