•Managing all the activities of Procurement Department for purchase of Raw Materials, Cement, Aggregates, Admixtures, Spare Parts, Machinery, Vehicles, Equipment’s, etc.
•Managing a team of 6 Procurement specialists & 2 Procurement coordinator.
•Building the yearly estimated purchasing & procurement budget & monitoring it with actual monthly figures to guarantee no excess in cost & to meet this budget.
•Sourcing and selecting suppliers based on best bids offered.
•Negotiating price, minimum quantities and transportation conditions.
•Negotiating & managing contracts terms & conditions.
•Continuous evaluation and improvement of suppliers to make sure we are getting the best.
•Revising all orders issued (machinery -spare parts- foreign & local miscellaneous orders ).
•Continues collaboration with all supply chain & production departments to guarantee smooth work flow.
•Cutting any waste and unnecessary costs to create a streamlined process and fast production times.
•Follow up delivery on time for all purchased materials with the required quality & quantity.
•Developing plans for minimizing the lead time and the number of orders.
•Making sure we are meeting the correct procedures and policies (ISO- standards- …).
•Monitor “Minimal Reorder Quantity” while taking in consideration consumption rates, lead-times, safety stock, etc.
•Reviewing each purchase request against the quantity in stock.
•Monitoring the supplier accounts with the accounting department.
•Setting monthly meetings with suppliers to discuss their evaluation and how to improve their weakness points.
•Establishing best practices and procedures to be followed by the subordinates.
•Receiving and analyzing weekly reports of my team.
•Setting weekly meetings with the team for business review and set targets of coming week.
•Closely Monitoring the purchasing of strategic material.
•Meeting the expenses reduction targets required by the CEO
Four Residential Building (2B+G+7F) Project :A high End Resdential Apartments Project which is located at Rawdat Al khail - 180 Million Riyals.
Tulip Inn Hotel & Suites (2B+GF+M+14F) Project: Three Star Hotel which is located at al Mirqab - 90 Million Riyals.
- Control and manage all procurement activities and material requisitions for the company requirements (local and Foreign).
- Consolidated the purchases of similar items for the whole group to get better prices and services.
- Negotiate and approve all bids and subcontracts from suppliers, continuous reduction of purchase costs, which generates extra gross profit.
- Monitoring the supplier performance for conformance to commercial terms.
- Trained the team to negotiate the bids from suppliers, and this yielded extra profit.
Duties & Responsibility
• Targeting to save up to 20% on total purchases value to the company.
• Overseas purchases of 25 million Qtr. Approx. Annually.
• Handling & Managing all materials requisition.
• Experience in purchasing civil &MEP material.
• Ensure collecting at least three quotations.
• Ensure all inquiries are being sent within the time limit of working progress.
• Screens the offers received from suppliers and conducts technical clarification meetings.
• Prepare Apple to Apple comparison sheets and decide on the best selection.
• Prepare summaries for management review.
• Negotiate the best offer with the supplier to reach the final rates.
• Monitors supplier performance for conformance to commercial terms.
• Issue (IPOs & LPOs) to suppliers.
• Tracking Deliveries. DNs, SRVs, Invoices.
• Communicate with prospective vendors to determine terms and availability
• Sourcing & Procurement of Raw materials.
• Customer service coordination.
• Contract Negotiations. (Multimillion-Qtr.).
• Manage P&L, budget responsibilities.

• Providing guidance and assisting buyers in marketing and purchasing raw material, back fill material for the right price under the best terms.
• Prepare necessary paperwork (contracts, leases, deeds, closing statements etc.)
• Maintain and update listings of available stockpiles.
• Develop networks and cooperate with contractors.
• Remain knowledgeable about markets and best practices.
