I work as part of the BSS product line providing IT solutions for communication service providers (CSPs). My responsibilities as a marketing Manager extend over various areas including:
 Product & Service Offering Design: covering the bundling of software products & services, price list design & maintenance, IPR licensing.
 Go-To-Market strategy/plan development: covering market segmentation, targeting, pricing, market analysis & study, & commercial documents development...etc.
 Marketing Research: covering several areas including competition analysis, industry trends, customer requirements analysis, & analyst relationship management.
 Promotion: including marketing material authoring & development, event & exhibition management, advertising, marketing campaigns, & positioning.
 Customer Management: Including designing & conducting of satisfaction surveys, relationship management, company introduction meetings, & customer communications.
 Business Development:
o Conducting regular customer visits to provide business consultancy and showcase our solutions.
o Actively working on lead generation, following up on leads & sales activities until opportunities are identified.
o Gathering intelligence on customers & competitors.
o Participating in proposal development.
o Managing partner relationships, researching potential partners, cooperating/liaising with partners on business opportunities.

 Pricing:
o Performing pricing activities for the company’s BSS IPR covering the entire customer care & billing suite of products.
o Evaluating RFQs and issuing price quotes in response.
o Participating in the product pricing process through performing ROI studies, market studies, & studying competitors’ price models.
 Marketing Research:
o Gathering & analyzing industry reports provided through industry analysts or through online research.

 Promotional Mix:

o Liaising with industry associations & advertising agencies to promote/manage company & products brands to achieve the necessary brand awareness.
o Researching & evaluating industry events/exhibitions and cooperating with MARCOM team in the planning, organization, execution, & attendance of events.
o Performing Website content development/copywriting activities, maintaining & supervising telecom industry section on the corporate Website.
 Product Marketing:
o Researching business features of the different Customer Care & Billing products provided by the company.
o Performing product/service positioning activities such market definition, collecting & analyzing customer feedback, designing advertising messages etc.
