• Support the PMU in procuring all the project’s needs and activities following the World Bank and the GOJ procurement’s guidelines and procedures.
• Support the preparation of procurement documents including, REOI RFQs, RFPs, RFBs, SPN, Notification of Intention to Award, Notification of Award, Contract Agreement, etc.
• Provide support to proposal-evaluation committees to ensure smooth and timely evaluation process.
• Support the management of contracts including inspection, compliance with terms and conditions, proactively addressing delays, trouble-shooting problems, contract amendments, completion of contracts, handling complaints, and contractual disputes.
• Update the project’s procurement plan, review procurement progress and coordinate with World Bank for guidance, reviews, and no objections.
• Coordinate with the project’s finance team, and provide procurement progress reports.
• Coordinate with the Ministry’s procurement staff to ensure the adherence to the Government procurements guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain a coherent filing system for archiving all approvals, contracts, contract amendments, and consultants’ deliverables.
