Saudi Skills Standards (SSS) acts as the regulatory and awarding body overseeing technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in Saudi Arabia. It is jointly owned by Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) & Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF)
Accomplishments:
• Instrumental in establishing finance, administration and human resources department.
• Spearheaded the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures and operational plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Management
• Executing financial stewardship responsibilities, ensuring financial integrity and reliability as well as compliance to the financial management legislative framework. Maintaining and monitoring the financial ratios to comply with TVTC KPIs.
• Scrutinizing and evaluating the adequacy/effectiveness of internal controls and quality of performance in carrying out the assigned responsibilities in compliance with organizational policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Ensuring adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that all purchases may pass independent and governmental audits.
• Managing all aspects of fiscal set up, budgeting and reporting including financial statements and reports to the funding agency.
Strategic Planning and Business Support
• Determining strategies to achieve the organization's mission and move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results.
• Partnering with the CEO on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships, as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts.
• Formulating/implementing integrated & supportive policies & procedures ensured long-term budgetary & cost management plans are in alignment with organization’s strategic plans. Developing pricing model for company professional services.
• Commanding contract management initiatives. Ensuring best in class industry pricing and contract terms and conditions.
• Offering a comprehensive range of liquidity management solutions across the organization. Restructuring the current contracts payment schedules in order to secure company cash flow.
Administration
• Proffering administration vision and strategy to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results.
• Refurbishing process to boost efficiency, consistency, and quality. Providing strategic support and guidance to the administrative cadre on implementation of the administrative policies.
Team Management
• Providing strong leadership and guidance through establishment of performance goals, allocation of resources and ensure that the team has an understanding of the vision and strategy and their part in its achievement.
• Facilitating organizational development, capacity building, succession planning and talent management, ensuring continuous learning is fully embedded within the culture of the company.
Executive Milestones
• Played a pivotal role in establishing the organization structure in liaison with leading professional firms - BCG, PwC and McKinsey & Company.
• Successfully designed and implemented fully-integrated ERP Solutions for Finance (GL, AR, AP, CM and Budget) Human Resource (payroll and employees self-services), both in Oracle E-Business Suite and MSDynamics AX
• Developed company chart of accounts during the ERP implementation project.
• Proffered high-level, strategic consultative advice for designing and implementing business process mapping for the finance department to ensure smooth daily work and business continuity.
