Under the direction of the Operations manger, and in partnership with the Run Plant
Engineer and Technical Advisor, the LT is accountable to safely operate the assigned
equipment or areas of the Plant and manage work groups to delivery against business and
production plan in a safe and efficient manner.
Under the general direction of the shift Lead technicins the Operator will operate assigned equipment or areas of the Plant as needed. Role is expected to run equipment. In partnership with Run Plant Engineer make sure the work team and equipment are performing at desired expectations as they relate to safety, quality and productivity. Utilize operation knowledge and experiences to provide technical and mechanical problem solving to optimize run-time and productivity. This position does not have responsibility to manage individual performance or employee development (except where indicated per department). The role is expected to elevate performance issues to the Operations Leader/Associate Production Manager. The incumbent is expected to intervene with peers with regard to safety, quality and productivity.
Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, control and coordinate the operation, routine
maintenance, and housekeeping work in an assigned area of the refinery on assigned
shifts. Ensure safe and efficient operation, follow up with all operations principles, of
process units and related equipment in accordance with the instructions and objectives
given by Management. Assist with training and preparation of equipment for Maintenance
