Was first assigned with the responsibility of reshaping and restructuring different activities as part of the process of restructuring and reorganizing the Human Resources across the business. This is in line with the operational requirements during critical circumstances while ensuring the continuity of the work.
Key Contributions and Accomplishments so far:
•Centralized the technical, commercial, and admin teams from different projects to the Head Office. This allowed to have equal support to all projects with overhead cost that has come down by 60%.
•Implemented an inhouse online platform (EPRO) to process all admin activities with various public departments and stopped all third-party typing charges. This also enabled an even more efficient and direct applications.
•Analyzed and rationalized the workers accommodation & eventually had the vacant spaces reduced to as minimum as 5% of the total beds in Al Quoze instead of DIP which is now closer to all Projects and the rent rate is 37% less.
•Reviewing & revamping of the existing policies and procedures is ongoing.
Responsible for all HR functions at Six Construct within the UAE while providing global HR support to Qatar, KSA, Oman & Bahrain. In charge of leading the HR agenda & directing a team of HR professionals supporting the overall business within the Middle East. Accountable for setting the HR priorities in accordance with the main objectives to ensure that the Company continually has the best, most effective, and engaged workforce
Key Contributions and Accomplishments:
•Successfully set the foundation and built up the HR Department for BESIX in the GCC at Dubai HO by Managing and Coordinating as well as Creating communication channels between various teams which were divided and split within different Departments. The HR was initially divided between an individual recruitment team and other unlinked administrative units. The challenges were to merge those teams in one Department then design a communication system between them as well as to apply a whole new concept of “Change Management” for the existing Staff. It was successful and since then, it has been functioning efficiently.
•Played an important role in setting the KPIs for the teams and developed their annual measurement mechanism.
•Achieved 100 % of the monthly time targets of the designated services in a couple of months.
•With full commitments to the Workers’ welfare, developed and implemented Workers Welfare Standards and policies in line with agreements that the Company signed with International Organizations such as the BWI.
While working very closely with the executive teams who are managing the day to day HR operations, also was responsible to ensure the legal compliance of all employees in the country, develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensured that the Project sites are resourced optimally, take actions to increase/ decrease or reshape the workforce profile so that the business targets are achieved. Developed and managed teams of direct reports to ensure that the right people are in the right places, took all actions that are required to have the business designed, staffed and developed according to the business needs.
Key Contributions and Accomplishments:
•Analysed, designed and developed HR and Administrative policies for BESIX ME such as Salary & Benefits, new Annual Vacation system, Transportation & Accommodation. It enhanced the clarity & transparency to the employees.
•Led the process of integrating a new ERP system using Microsoft Dynamics with the aim to have a common platform between all the Departments within the Group.
•Came up with a solution to source manpower locally at an overall cost of 20 % less.
Was in charge and Managed the Finance & Administration Department including insurances and procurement at the Company's branch Office in Qatar. Directly supervised the Accounts Department and was responsible for its monthly and quarterly accounts' closing and reporting of cash flow, cost control, P&L, and balance sheet. Also supervised the daily and monthly activities at the Administration & Personnel Department

•Sorted out a complex situation to identify the real headcount in the country then managed to ensure their legal compliance.
•Reorganized the Procurement, Stores, and Personnel teams with clear job objectives.
