• Plan and coordinate production engineering processes on daily basis to produce high quality products
• Provide engineering support, perform analysis for improvement, implement cost reduction initiatives and reduce down time during production.
• Stay current with product specifications & technology and developing best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
I am working in this industry as a trainee engineer. My core responsibilities are monitoring & operating equipments, observing visually / parameters from field to ensure smooth operation, Ensuring 3M safety and management of man, machinery and materials, Isolation of equipments for maintenance, Plant shutdown and startup procedures along with Scheduled maintenance. Other duties include Quality Control and inter departmental affairs.
I was appointed as a mentor in one of the biggest school of Lahore, I taught the student of O-Levels about sustainability, Recycling, water treatment, waste management and engery conservation.
I did a Green Belt Project in Supply Chain Department which was ‘Reduction of Vehicle Dwell Time. The project involved collection of data, analyzing it and recommending improvements to make the processes more efficient. As a result it is expected to reduce the dwell time by 33%.
Another project (white belt) - ‘Transport Vendor Development’ was allotted to me, requiring me to interview Nestlé’s present transporters and compile their working procedures and company information in the quest to find a solution for the work load to be distributed equally in each of the three shifts
i that training period i have to learn about all the operations, company hierarchy, gone through different departments and their responsibilities to keep the operation going. i also learned the procedure that how to take ISO certification. i learned about health and safety issue in chemical engineering company.
and my target was to learn in detail the reforming process in ammonia generation plant.
