Maintenance Manager of a huge fleet of earth moving fleet. Over900 pieces of equipment ranging from Skid loaders to 750hp Shovel excavator.
All working in the construction on Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City.
To fulfil this objective i am managing the workshop and the spare parts store. The manpower of my team is 190 person. Our team includes a wide variety of professions.
Provide day to day managerial direction to mechanics to ensure smooth operations in the garage in a timely manner
Receive guidance from the Manager to plan the days work and priority levels of assigned work
Implement administrative procedures and operating quality control checks to monitor terminal activities and associated costs according to plan
Jointly responsible for repair and maintenance of a fleet of around 300 having equipments such as small forklifts, cranes, small power lifts, container handling equipments, heavy lifts etc.
Supervise the entire process of repair from start to end
Direct the supervisors to adhere to the correct process and procedures for repair documentation such as Job cards opening etc.
Document the maintenance schedule of equipments and ensure that they undergo checks in a timely fashion
Technically help the mechanics in machine repairs when required
Ensuring timely completion of work and adherence to safety and quality
Possess knowledge of replacements and coordinate with the purchase department to identify substitutes
Ensure safety of garage and workers and monitoring if all safety requirements are being adhered to
Plan time to time training in safety, technical product information in liaison with QHSE
Coordinate any electrical/plumber activity as required by the company
Responsible for staff development activities comprising of supporting recruitment, team development and complaint resolution, set KPI’s for direct reports and conduct performance appraisal and also drive motivation levels of direct reports
Assist the management in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise, concerning prevention of personal injuries
Maintain a safe working environment
Accountability and Authority (QHSE)
Responsible for compliance of applicable legal, statutory, contractual or other applicable requirements
Responsible for identifying the Hazards and maintaining the Hazard and Risk analysis records
1- Manage the Workshops of the company which carry out the following activity:
* Preparation of Newly Sold Construction Equipment.
* Warranty repairs of the Sold Equipments
* Technical Support for the equipment
* Overhauling the different parts of the Equipment.
2- Managing the construction and Installation team which carry out the following activitie:
* Installation of Fume Extraction Systems.
* Installation of Storage Systems.
* Installation of Car Wash machines.
* Installation of Diesel Power Generation System.
* Installation of Compressed air systems

Periodec Mantenace
Ovehauling of Engines
Overhauling of hydraulic systems
Overhauling of Electrical systems
Checking and evaluating the equipment condition.
2- Managing the installation and repair of Overhead cranes.
3- Managing the installtion of Comprssed air systems.
4- Managing the installtion of Workshop Machines.
5- Manageing the installtion of Generation systems.
Maintenance of Material handling Equipments including Diesel, LP, gasoline engines and electrical Equipments as well.
