My main responsibilities are to:
• Reconcile the accounts receivable and prepare the receivables dashboard on a monthly basis to identify delinquent accounts, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment
• Review, evaluate, and prioritize past due accounts by utilizing A/R aging reports, and research customer discrepancies
• Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
• Assist the chief accountant in reconciling the revenue accounts each month
• Calculate and deduct all the supplier rebates
• Compute space rent deductions and other operating income
• Complete the consignment commission calculation
• Perform other related duties as assigned
My main responsibilities were to:
• Handle the accounting for the opening of four new branches and a new E-commerce store
• Respond to all audit requests of the ministry of finance and prepare the related reports
• Interact with external auditors by responding to all their audit requests
• Assist in National Social Security Fund, income tax, and VAT declarations under the chief accountant supervision
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing for more than six branches
• Prepare the balance sheet accounts reconciliation at the end of each month
• Complete accruals and closing journal entries on time
• Approve all ledger entries by auditing transactions
• Make monthly intercompany transactions and reconciliations with the headquarter and with more than four countries including foreign currency accounting on monthly basis
• Manage Fixed Assets (Booking, tagging, and reconciliation)
• Produce payroll by initiating computer processing and printing checks
• Reconcile bank accounts and verify the bank balance with the general ledger
• Maintain cash flow by monitoring bank balances and cash requirements
• Approve check and wire transfer payments for suppliers after checking the invoices
• Recommend and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Participate in most inventories
