“Fuel fixers: Imported petroleum and the fragility of grift in contemporary Lebanon” is a thesis researching the country’s fuel supply chain.
- Facilitated research through interview access and Arabic/English interpretation of 4 expert interviews with generator owners and government officials.
- Documented and transcribed 10 source analyses, highlighting lived experiences, socio-economic impacts, and systemic challenges.
- Provided expert qualitative analysis on findings, leading to a better understanding of the supply chain’s impact on Lebanon’s energy infrastructure.

“The Real-Time Review of the Acute Joint Response” funded by the Dutch Relief Alliance and led by War Child, examined the impact, effectiveness and accountability of the coordinated humanitarian aid for conflict-affected populations in Lebanon.
- Designed and implemented the work plan, covering objectives, primary and secondary data collection, methodology, questionnaires, tools, scheduled activities, timeline and budget.
- Facilitated and led 13 focus group discussions (FGDs) with leaders, partners, staff, and adult and child beneficiaries and analysed the qualitative data to align with research objectives and Joint Response priorities.
- Produced and presented a key finding report alongside a lessons-learned session, facilitating stakeholders’ discussions.
- Synthesised insights and recommendations into a final report, resulting in a mitigation plan aimed at informing stakeholders on adapted methods of inclusivity, coordination, localization, efficiency and effectiveness for ongoing and future responses.

The Hawkamaa-EU project is a European-funded program aiming to support water governance and public water and wastewater services in Lebanon for host and refugee communities. IMPACT Initiatives is a Geneva-based NGO providing research and data to implementing partners under the program.
- “Assessing the impact of community attitudes and institutional capacities in water resource management: A Social-Ecological Analysis - IMPACT”: Led mixed-methods research on water resource management, including baseline and endline assessment planning, evaluation design and management, monitoring and evaluation, theory of change and logical framework development, and data analysis and reporting on community attitudes and institutional capacities informing targeted advocacy plans to improve water management.
- “Socio-economic barriers to subscription, payment, and servicing in the water sector in Lebanon - LebRelief”: Delivered technical expertise through report restructuring and rewriting, qualitative and legal-compliance analysis, contributing to a consultative report disseminated to stakeholders to improve water management.
- “Study on legally compliant collaboration regarding operation, management, and cost recovery between local authorities and water establishments - NAHNOO”: Conducted case study analysis, including qualitative and legal review, and restructured and rewrote the final report, providing stakeholders with insights into the relationships between water management actors.

-"Assessment on Barriers to Enrolment for Adolescent Out-Of-School Ukrainian Refugees in Poland - Care”: Developed qualitative analysis dimensions and factors based on a behavioural driver’s model, coded, cleansed and analysed findings to identify key barriers and facilitators to education for adolescent Ukrainian refugees and provide recommendations to enhance access to education and support services.
- “Evaluation of Iraq’s ACTIVATE Environmental Governance Programme - Mercy Corps”: Led 19 key informant interviews (KIIs) and FGDs with environmental activists and civil society leaders, representatives from trade unions, business, academia and government, analysed translated and coded data using OECD DAC criteria, and presented preliminary findings to Mercy Corps to guide future program design.
- “Development of a Gender Strategy for the Women Economic Empowerment Project, Lebanon - UNDP”: Conducted a comprehensive literature review on economic gender-based violence in Lebanon, examining legal frameworks, community impacts, patterns, and systemic challenges, shaping future recommendations for UNDP’s initiatives to support women-led enterprises.

The evaluation of the WATAD project assessed its impact on the socio-economic conditions of Tripoli’s disadvantaged neighbourhoods through entrepreneurial support and vocational training.
- Coordinated and conducted 10 FGDs and 30 KIIs with beneficiaries, managing translation, transcription, and qualitative analysis of the interviews to support implementing partner’s activities and strengthen long-term capacities.

Supported a study on emerging independent political parties in Lebanon with author Nicholas Blandford by preparing questionnaires, interviewing 15 opposition activists, and transcribing and reporting interviews.
