Job Responsibilities:
• Deliveries of MEP System include but not limited to design development, design review, coordination for MEP Services against other trades, MEP site supervision and Testing Commissioning of the MEP System.
• Provide Engineering solutions (coordination, site coordination, etc.) for Infrastructure works such as External Chilled Water System, External HV System, Portable Water System, Foul Sewerage and Drainage System, External LPG System, Irrigation System, Street Lighting, Q-tel line and External Fire Hydrant
• Review the sub-contract tender documents and provide the engineering solutions for bidders design queries in coordination with the consultants.
• Review the Project Specifications, Design Drawings and relevant documents related to Engineering to ensure the workability of the design provided by client/in house designer (for design & built part) and also compliance to related Standards
• Review the Mechanical Shop Drawings and Material Submittals by respective Subcontractors to make sure the coordination and compliances to design requirement
• Co-operate with relevant subcontractors in issuing guidelines for the working process.
• Coordinate necessary change order requirements (additional works or modification) with the Head of Department prior to instructing or implementing the works to the concerned subcontractors.
• Control the coordination performance of the Mechanical and Infrastructure services with other trades.
• Attendance in daily / weekly Engineering / Site coordination and progress meetings held with relevant subcontractors, as advised by the Head of Department
• Provide day to day support and relevant reports to the Head of Department as well as tasks directly advised or requested by the Head of Department and as agreed.
• Provide the coordinated Mechanical Builders Work prior to Structural and Architectural Shop Drawing preparation
• Supervise and site coordination for MEP system installation.
• Coordinate and supervise the MEP Services Testing Commissioning with client representatives, consultants and system specialists prior to handover the project
