Responsibilities:
- Supervising and implementing overall surveying activities& procedures, geared towards enhancing productivity and quality of survey services.
-Insuring optimum operational readiness of all instruments, by scheduling and enforcing strict maintenance guidelines, and zero-tolerance quality standards
Also responsible for:
1- Preparing topographic and geographic maps & as built drawings using (GIS, AutoCAD, Surfer8) programs.
2- GPS operations (Trimble R7, R8) & GIS data analyzing.
3- Quantity survey and ( Cut & fill reports) using Terramodel, Civil CAD &
installation activities. Surfer8 programs.
4-Training & Technical Evaluation. 5- Plans, organizes and directs work of survey party to confirm the required tasks for civil & mechanical activities as:
-Stakeout of construction site.
- Provide quality control dimensional & alignment checks for foundations and
- Responsible for performing layout work, establishing control points and benchmarks as required
-Handling the mechanical installations such as towers, pipe racks & equipment’s alignment & level.
- Operating in full capacity with the construction department supervising all sub-contractors' survey jobs, providing necessary survey information and assistance to subcontractors
- Direct services to the Technical Department regarding survey work.
- Provide technical services to the Engineering Department by supplying drawings & sketches and survey checks.
- Provide support to the QA/QC Department in carrying out all necessary survey checks and approve survey works by the client.
- Responsible for providing field information to maintain "As built” drawings for the project.
-Training & development of survey crew personnel.
