• Maintains receipt, storage & distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, enforcing program, operational policies & procedures.
• Analyze information about supplier performance.
• Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize the consuming.
• Confer with supply chain planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.
• Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
• Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
• Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows.
• Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes & to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders beside the procurement department.
• Involved in identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce the overall supply chain cost base.
• Manages plans which identify key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics and resources required.
• Actively participates in analyzing logistics data, available resources and developing recommendations and action plans.
• Coordinate supply chain with project aspects, such as scheduling and performance reporting.
• Handling the make-or-buy decisions and linking them into the Estimate Activity Resources and Develop Schedule processes.
• Obtaining Purchase requests and checking the other options.
• Prepare assets reports (all wises).
• Responsible about all local /international supplements activities.
• Liaison with Proposals, Costing & planning for the orders received.
• Expertise in providing interpretation, technical guidance and risk assessment on contractual matters.
