Leading a team of Carrier Technical Managers working on Technical Acceptance of BlackBerry devices with Carriers within the MEA & CIS regions
•Manage the technical part in the BlackBerry service launch of 51 carriers in 42 countries across MEA & CIS regions.
•Driving the acceptance of RIM’s hardware, software and systems solutions
• Manage carrier specifications and feature requests.
• Support EMS carriers to ensure complete understanding of the BlackBerry product offerings.
• Driving the launch of new products/services, successful in-life programs as well as managing activities involved with end of life.
•Troubleshoot handheld issues reported during testing and resolve issues within tight timescales

•Conducting BES/applications installations at customer’s site.
•Conducting Technical meetings.
•Conducting Technical trainings for the carrier and their customers.
•Manage and maintain internal networks/servers and IT aspects within the company.
•Mentor a team of Support Engineers
•Troubleshooting technical issues escalated from the Support Engineers team.
•Head the research and development projects

- Blackberry Enterprise Server Tier 2 Support:

Resolving issues pertaining to the Blackberry Enterprise Server. This also includes Exchange / Notes support so as to make the client messaging environment work with the Blackberry Solution

- Blackberry Enterprise Server Installation & Administration Training:

Installing the Blackberry Solution for clients with Exchange / Notes Messaging environments.
Giving IT admins basic level of understanding of the Blackberry Infrastructure and day-to-day administration. This includes adding / removing devices, administering devices using IT policies, general troubleshooting etc.

- Pre-Sales:
Presenting the Business Case to potential clients. Presenting clients with value proposition of using the Blackberry Solution, with emphasis on the technical details. Highlighting key advantages of the solution over other solutions.

-Sales Support:
Working with the Sales team to answer general / technical questions relating to the Blackberry Solution.

-Technical support for customers
-Installing, configuring, Administrating and troubleshooting Network Domain using Windows 2000 & Windows 2003 Active Directory and DNS
-Controlling Network IPs using DHCP Server
-Making preventive maintenance for Network
-Installation, troubleshooting HP & IBM Desktop's & servers
-Installation for Cisco Routers & Switches
-Installation, Configuring Exchange Server & ISA Server
-Working two months with Dubai Airport (DNRD Section) as Help Desk staff, supporting all computers, printers & software.
-Working three months with ADNOC Distribution with HelpDesk staff, supporting all computers, printers & software in the Head office & all Branches remotely .
-Working one year with DNRD ( Dubai Naturalization & Resedance Department ) with Help Desk staff, supporting all DNRD computers, Network, printers & software.

Duties and responsibility :
