We have done a variety of projects, mainly in the Fit-Out section. These projects include refurbishment of private houses and commercial shops. My main scope as a CEO was to assure the continuity of projects, meet new clients, tendering for projects, and assuring to complete them on time with high standards.

Rawdah/Academy project

The project is constructed over 1.6M m2 land, consisting of Administrative, accommodation and storage buildings in addition to 16No. of distribution substations and 1No. primary substation. The development of site plan is rich of many types of underground utilities and pavement finishes that must be thoroughly coordinated.

Construction of Qatar Armed Force North Camp

The project of 150, 000m2 total built up area is consisting of 94 administrative and industrial buildings served by 52km asphalted roads in addition to 2.5km runway and 140, 570m2 apron pavement
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor all site activities directly or indirectly through out site team in accordance of project specs and quality and HSE regulations
Revise and update work schedule reflecting actual progress
Set plans (monthly, weekly) with site team to achieve the project targets
Revise the drawings with technical department, designer and consultant to eliminate progress obstacles
Attend and lead technical, progress and coordination meetings in order to ensure smooth work flow
Track the delivery of site material and equipment following up with procurement department to avoid delay to site work
Allocate the required resources and subcontractors in timely manner and track their production rate.

• Project: Police Station and Cell Block at Umsalal from November 2019 to Present

• The construction of Hotel (B+G+M+7+Mech. Floor) with a total built-up area of 91, 011 m2 including Swimming pool & Squash courts
• 338 Guestrooms, 22 Suites
• North Parking (G+1) with 5110 m2 built-up area for 60 cars, South Parking (B+G+2) with 16, 400 m2 built-up area for 378 cars,
• 5 nos. Bungalows and a Thai Restaurant (B+G+1) with 426 m2 built-up area
• Oasis theme park and Health clubs.
• The scope of works for the said package covers earthworks, concrete works, masonry, MEP works, pre-finishing works, metal works, external stone cladding, aluminum works, lift works and Interior Architectural Finishing.

 Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of all activities in accordance with quality management plans.
• Ensuring the attainment of the specified quality within the requirements of the contract.
• Achieving timely completion of the project within the budget cost.
• Ensuring that adequate resources are allocated to activities and utilizing the available resources effectively.
• Promoting the requirements of a safe working environment on site.
• Presides and conducts workshops, technical and coordination meeting.
• Acceptance and handover of the works.

During this short period, I was oriented to grasp the company procedures in executing and supervising different small construction projects that included stadiums and industrial factory. After satisfactory completion of the orientation, I was assigned as the site engineer to execute Shk. Abdulrahman bin Nasser Al-Thani majlis construction project.

During my training period, CCC was working on a project for designing and constructing two major bridges. I rotated through the major sections of the company such as Design, Planning, Estimate, Procurement, and Document Control Sections, in addition to the Quarry, QC Laboratory, Asphalt and Concrete Batch Plants.
