• Responsible for timely disbursements (Cash and Bank), prepare and submit a monthly Bank & Cash reconciliation.
• Liaise with Logistics, HR, and Admin to ensure OGB compliance.
• Upload monthly accounts into PeopleSoft as per set up deadlines.
• Revise, audit, and process all the payments assuring it includes all supporting docs: invoices, receipts, proof of payment, procurement doc’s, and or contracts, etc... This will require seeking appropriate authorization and submitting the documents approval and insuring that all supporting documents are appropriately filed.
• Ensure that Oxfam GB financial procedures are followed.
• If & when needed follow up with stakeholder like, Banks, Jordan Income tax department, Social Security Department, OGB, HQ etc...
• Ensure all records are filed in an orderly and accessible manner and keeping them in Amman Office.
• Ensure that all expenditures are recorded in line with agreed budgets & SOPs.
• Handle the full reporting of Monthly and Yearly tax & Social Security payments and declarations.
• Handle the regional office staff reimbursement, advances, and advance liquidation.
• Prepare financial reports as needed.
• Process monthly payroll payments In coordination with HR.
• Support the annual external audit process.
• Keep all supporting documents available for review when required.
• Prepare the monthly Top Up request of cash to HQ.
• Prepare monthly registers and making sure that balances are supported with proper justification
* Responsible for the area accountancy and its accuracy.
* Ensures all financial and accountancy procedures are implemented and respected at area level.
* view and update the Budget Follow-Up (BFU) every month, highlighting any potential over or underspend, raising alarms and making relevant recommendations with programs and area coordination to ensure accurate forecast and spending.
* Ensures that all resources of his area are allocated on the correct project.
* Ensures that all resources are allocated and use as per donor requirements. This includes ensuring non-allocated resources are not used on any project, unless a written approval is given by the CFM.
* Responsible for updating the allocation tables for staff and support costs on a monthly basis, making a forecast with programs and area coordination, to ensure that there will be no overspend.
* Checks the coherence of the cashbook, saga and cash balance before closing the accountancy for each week and the end of each month.
* Weekly and monthly update of the contract follow up (CFU) and debt follow up (DFU - monthly only).
Prepare month-end and year-end closing journal entries
• Intercompany reconciliations of over 10 different entities
• Preparing and reviewing the bank reconciliations
• prepare income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Reviewing LC balances with banks and due dates and notifying managment to avoid accumuating interest.
• Reviewing inventory balances and customers orders to ensure availability to meet demand without reaching higher-than-needed inventory levels.
• Analysing financial results to help management in decision-making process.
• supervision on senior and junior accountants.
• Follow up with external auditor for financial statement audit and zakat declaration.
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintains and balances sub-ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
• Maintains general ledger by transferring sub-ledger accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

• Perform AR/AP cycle, collections, and inventory valuation and stock count verification

• Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors.
In Account Receivables (A/R) department:
• Enter all of the money collected from customers in their accounts as a rival to our dues as well as matching funds received to fund the company either in cash or a check and incorporated in the bank account when you deposit money in the bank every day.
In Account payables (A/P) department:
• Enter the accounts of suppliers liability and download all expenses according to type and prepare payments to suppliers when due.
• Responsibility for all company expenses (telephone, mobile, fuel… etc.) and registered accounts and is responsible for payment at maturity.
In Clearance Accounts:
• For clearance accounts are considered a small company within Aramex I was responsible for them as, costs and income as well as responsible for the preparation of the income statement and balance sheet every three months.
