• Define the department headlines and goals in addition to the project development life cycle
• Define the list of orders and tasks among the organization requirements and needs to help understand the structure, and the policies to come up with solutions that will benefit the organization system to enhance their performance and achieve their goals
• Evaluate the organization capabilities to provide the required services for customers by defining the organization needs, and connect those demands to specific objectives as planned by the organization.
• Understand the current system of business and identify the best solutions that meets the business requirements to achieve the organization plans; and define the constraints such as (Time required, Budget, and other factors) to be utilized by the company.
• Defining the data flow for each process and sub processes within the organization using break down structure by providing multi-level DFDs (Data Flow Diagram) to help the system development team in programming and build the system.
• Analyze the information obtained from the end-users who use the current system of the business such as staff, customers, and IT professionals; and operate as a central role to support the required needs of business to extend the capabilities of the system to deliver the best services.
• Translating client requirements into highly specified project briefs by providing BRS (Business Requirements Specifications) in which the Development team can understand and utilize the provided information to build the perfect system as per the Business requirements.
• Follow up with the client and make sure that these requirements and the derived requirements are understood and accepted by the End-Users to avoid any delays and defects in the system and the time delivery.
• Prepare SRS (System Requirements Specifications) by translating the BRS document into sub system modules to be used by system developers and specify the desirable functions and make sure they are covered and achieved by these modules to define the scope of work for the developers.
• Working closely with colleagues, developers, testers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction of the constructed system.
• Identify and enhance communication procedures between the technical team members and the clients by defining the input and output of each group in the team and define the acceptance criteria to allow the project to run smoothly.
• Planning and monitoring the project by specifying the activities in order needed to complete the process, and define the project milestones and make sure that the output of each team groups are accepted within the time frame and project plans.
• Organize and review the automated unit testing cases and manual test cases and specify the required testing types and acceptance criteria (load, performance, security, functional) to insure that the software is working according to the standards.
• Participate in system architecture by defining the solution components, the structure of these components and their entire-relationship.
• Evaluating system RFPs and determine the selected proposal, and rank the RFP elements to the degree to which requirements and priorities are met.
• Define the appropriate RFPs solution and writing software project proposals.
