- Implementation of Quality System & Procedure according to QCP and schedule Q for all Instrument work.
- Review the drawings for the activities going on the site and prepare the internal RFI as per requirement
- Review the documents related to Material receiving and prepare the documents ready for the internal inspection.
- Witness the internal inspection of the instrument, Valves and gauges Calibration.
- Maintain the reports of the calibrated instrument and update in the master log sheet.
- Witness in the inspection of various cable works such as direct Buried cables and overhead cable trays, power, and Instrument cables.
- Responsible for inspection of all Instrument cable IR/continuity Test.
- Inspection of Cable laying, termination, which is installed for the Transmitter, Detector, Valves, JB and Marshalling Cabinet.
- Review Loop Check Package Pre-Commissioning Document and Witness the Loop check for all the instruments, Electrical equipment and transducers.
- Submitting weekly report and requested information / statistics to QC Supervisor.
- To be conversant with the company QHSE procedures & policies and ensure that all the people on the site observe and implement them.
- Closing and Verification of the Punch list items in Loop folders and EIL list
- Implementation of Quality System & Procedures for all works activities.
- Responsible to carry out the inspection of Instrument work which includes the Material receiving of different Transmitters, RTD’s, Thermocouple, Flow elements, valves, JB’s, Valves, Gauges, Local Indicators, Cable Tray, Switches etc.
- Inspection for Material Receiving of PVC conduit, PVC coated RGS Conduit, Cable tray, stanchion, Junction Box, panel, LCP, gauges, Transmitters, detector, Mov, Instrument Impulse tubes, Instrument cable accordingly to IFC drawing, specification, code and standards.
- Inspection of Material Receiving of Galvanic Anodes, CP Rectifier, Impressed Current Anodes, CP Test Stations/ Junction Box, Exothermic Welding tools and materials, Impressed Current CP Cable.
- Inspection for all Instrument cable IR/Continuity test of the cable Reels coming to the site after material receiving.
- Guarantee the good realization of work in respect of the procedures, specifications, safety and environmental protection and ensure quality and good engineering practice is maintained, being flexible but also strict when required to ensure the fundamental objectives of the project.
- Inspection of Installation of CP Test Stations, CP Rectifier Impressed Current CP Cable Installations, Below Grade DC Cable Pulling, Cable Dressing and Identification.
- Responsible for the preparation of all inspection report prior to the acceptance of the client.
- Confirming that the Calibration of the instruments match with the specifications in the Instrument Data Sheet for all the Instruments coming to the site yard.
- Raising non-conformance report for the activities if found any not matching according to the international standards.
- Implementation of Quality System & Procedure according to QCP and Schedule Q for all Instrument work.
- Monitor all the construction and quality related activities of the project.
- Carry out the inspection activities as per international Standards SAES, IEEE, IEC, NEC, NFPA, NEMA VE1 & VE2, ANSI, ASME, SAMSS and UL etc.
- Review internal request for inspection (RFI) from discipline Engineer, ensure completion of on time inspection of construction activities as per ITP.
- Perform inspection as per approved Inspection and Test Plan and witness installation and testing.
- Conduct surveillance inspection to ensure construction Activities comply with specification and work procedures.
- Identify any non-conformance to project requirements to ensure accurate corrective action will be implemented.
- Perform internal inspection through surveillance and final Inspection to ensure final acceptance from the client.
- Monitoring the 2-weeks look ahead schedule for the instrument activities, which would be carried out in the site.
- Preparation and giving toolbox talk for each instrumentation activity to the respective supervisor and technicians to minimize the non-conformance in the site.
- Issuing INCR for Standard Violation & Deviation according to SAEP-381 during Work.
- Inspection of Installation of all the Grounding system as per NEC Standard.
- Inspection of installation of all types of panels and Cabinets like AJB, DJB, RTU, DCSMC, ESDMC, FACP etc.
- Inspection of installation of all types of instruments, Valves (Control valves, MOV’s ESD, SOV), gas detectors, Smoke Detector, Fire detector, horns and beacons, Fire alarms.
- Inspection of all type trays installation according to NEMA VE 1 and NEMA VE2.
- Ensure the equipment and enclosure mark or certified for area Classification or hazardous zone e.g., Exe, Exd, ExP, And T1, T2, T3, T4, T5.
- Check Material Preservation & Material Receiving Inspection as per Material Release Note, Inspection Report, Test Report, Material Test Certificate, and Purchase Order prior to Installation.
- Preparation of advance work schedule of activities such as cabling and termination, installation, impulse tubing for local mounted instrument, transducer etc.
- Inspection of material receiving of the process skid by verifying documents and preparing the punchlist for any type of issues.
- Witness and Inspection of the impulse tube and impulse line Leak Test according to the procedures.
- Witness in the inspection of various cable works such as direct Buried cables and overhead cable trays, power, and Instrument cables.
- Responsible for inspection of all Instrument cable IR/continuity Test.
- Inspection of Cable laying, termination, which is installed for the Transmitter, Detector, Valves, JB and Marshalling Cabinet.

- Assist the subcontractor QC Inspector for preparation of all the RFI’s including documents and drawings for all type of inspection.
- Assist the QC for raising the internal RFI with all documents and checking in the site as well.
- Assist the QC in inspection of all types of RFI for Instrument Instrument Installation, Cable Pulling, Cable IR test, Impulse tube installation, Impulse tube leak test etc.
- Helping the QC in preparation of all types of Inspection reports(Instrument Installation and IR Reports)
- Assist the subcontractor QC in arranging all the documents related to material receiving and visiting the site for Inspection of the RFI for all the Instrument items.
- Assist the QC in providing punch list items by visiting the site.
- Assist the QC in verifying of the Loop folder by checking the related documents attached in it.
- Inspection of cable conduit above and below ground installation, cable tray installation, cable pulling glanding and termination.
- Helping the QC in Closing and Verification of the Punch list items with the clients.

- Responsible to carry out the inspection of Instrument work which includes the material receiving and installation of Transmitters, valves, JB’s, Valve, Gauge, Local Indicator, Pressure Switch, Fire and Gas equipment.
- Inspection of Material Receiving of Galvanic Anodes, CP Rectifier, Impressed Current Anodes, CP Test Stations/ Junction Box, Exothermic Welding tools and materials, Impressed Current CP Cable.
- Documents review of the Sacrificial anode quantities/location/material (Zn, Mg) for the design life of the structure.
- Inspection of exothermic Cad welding as per standards.
- Inspection of Installation of CP Test Stations, CP Rectifier Impressed Current CP Cable Installations, Below Grade DC Cable Pulling, Cable Dressing and Identification.
- Inspection for Installation of conduit, Cable tray, stanchions, JB’s, panel, LCP, gauges, Transmitters, detector, CV, Mov, Instrument Air Line, Impulse tubes, IC & PC cable, accordingly to IFC drawing, specification, code, and UL standard,
- Inspection for all Instrument cable IR continuity Test, cable-laying termination that is installed for the Transmitter, Valve and Detector.
- Responsible for the preparation of all inspection report prior for the acceptance of the client.
- Confirming that the Calibration of the instruments match with the specifications in the Instrument Data Sheet.
v Carryout inspection of the material when it arrives in the warehouse to ensure its conformity to the project specifications and Purchase Order.
- Involved in Inspection of cable trench excavation, Cable Laying and Backfilling.
- Inspection of Loop checking of transmitters, switches, ON-OFF Valves and other Fire and Gas Instruments.
- Inspection of Installation of CP Test Stations, CP Rectifier Impressed Current CP Cable Installations, Below Grade DC Cable Pulling, Cable Dressing and Identification.
- Conduct surveillance inspection to ensure construction activities comply with specification and work procedures.
- Identify any non-conformance to project requirements to ensure accurate corrective action will be Implemented.
- Inspection of impulse tube installation according to International Standards.
- Closing and Verification of the Punch list items in Loop folders.
