General Role:
Provide full management support and oversight of the Accounting, Financial Management, Grants,
Compliance, Human resources, Procurement and Logistics, Administration and Information technology
required to implement the project's activities.
Major tasks:
- Prepare Financial performance reports; highlighting budget status and burn rate' against the annual
work plan and forecast, obligated funds, commitments and advances.
- Project startup and registration activities.
- Playing key role in hiring talented project staff.
- Finalize Procurement and contracts vetting activities. Ensure full compliance with USAID rules and
regulation.
- Manage the sub-awards component and" Pre-assessment, awarding, budgeting, financial reporting,
budget realignment and capacity building".
- Manage project budget against expenses and the need to realign the project's budget to ensure
compliance with USAID.
- Playing key role in implementation of Financial and Administrative policies and procedures that meet
project needs and USAID requirements in terms and reference of the cooperative agreement.
- Provide trainings to field staff and building skill-level of the project staff on the areas if Finance,
administration and project management.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial report to the project's management, HQ and donor.
- Submit the cash projection and Fund request on a monthly basis to HQ.
- Review and approve all vouchers to ensure that all expenses are allowable, allocable and reasonable.
Regional Role, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and Syria
Assists the Financial Controller by managing the day-to-day budget and grants management functions. Make
sure the budget, grants management issues immediately attended and that the donor budgets are prepared
in accordance to IRC and donor requirements, and submitted on time. In addition, ensure that grants fully
implemented in compliance to donor regulations and IRC requirements and donor reporting is on time.
Develop budget management tools and conduct trainings to improve efficiency and donor reporting.
Producing all donor proposal budgets based on input from program staff, set up Donor Status Reports
(DSR’s), Produce and distribute the Budget Monitoring Tool (BMT) to each budget holder, confirm reports
and their contents comply with Donor rules and regulations.
Prepared the annual operational and programmatic budgets.
Based in Jordan office, played a critical role in collaborating with the senior leadership team in strategic
decision-making and operations as MDM Nonprofit continues to enhance its quality programming and
build capacity. Finance and operations leader to maximize and strengthen the internal capacity of a well-
respected, high-impact organization.
Lead and develop an internal team to support the following areas: finance, budgeting, human resources,
administration, and IT.
Responsible for the development of JRF Nonprofit’s financial management strategy and contribute to the
development of the organization’s strategic goals. In addition to the strategic components, developed and
implemented more sophisticated policies and procedures in both the finance and in general operational
realms. Record of accomplishment of creative problem solving and change management to join in a high-
growth, mission-driven organization.
Focal person with the donors, Auditors and Projects Managers in any related financial issue.
Lead and develop an internal team to support the following areas: finance, budgeting, Program
Development, Procurement and Administration.
Training and capacity building for the project's staff, local CBOs, youth leaders and volunteers.
