• Providing technical assurance to ensure the process units operate within established limits
• Ensuring and controlling the execution of the schedules for crude oil acceptance,
transportation and delivery, in accordance with the daily volumes. If I as a Control
Operator notice an unplanned deviation in the acceptance volume, reporting it to
the manager.
• Update procedures of start-up, stop, and emergency stop of the unit.
Appling necessary measures to recover any disturbed modes or malfunctioning in the daily
scheduled plan upon agreement with the Chief Control Operator.
• The progress of executing emergency response and planned repair works and
aligning the optional repair procedure with the work of the station operators.
• Troubleshooting and operations knowledge including interpretation of P&IDs and C&E charts
-Working at the part of automated systems for dispatching control and management,
in case of detecting any malfunction attracting specialists from relevant departments
and services to take prompt actions to rectify the systems operation.
• Ensuring the product quality as prescribed in the standard limits by controlling the
actual parameters of the facility units (e.g. distillation tower, naphtha condenser,
kerosene mercaptan oxidation treatment unit)
• Participating in Process Hazard Analyses to identify and assess Process
Safety threats and develop recommendations.

• Coordinate together with the Manager and Superintendents of each operation unit the
start-up or shut down of the process units.
