1. Supervise/manage Project Managers/Site Agents and monitor progress/productivity on site.
2. Monitor/coordinate the movement and allocation of Company resources to achieve maximum utilization and efficiency.
3. Project Risk Management (Register, Study, Evaluate, Plan response, Analyze & Prioritize).
4. Liaise with Consultants/Client on technical, contractual and commercial matters.
5. Manage the design, procurement and construction progress for compliance with contract requirements.
6. Manage/Reviews and verifies accuracy and consistency of engineering drawings and specifications and monitors progress to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
7. Advise Commercial Manager of subcontract requirements.
8. Prepare and maintain project Budget.
9. Identify any gaps and provide recommendations to close any scope gaps.
10. Initiate Cost/Value comparison and maintain regular updates.
11. Review and approve material requisitions for Projects.
12. Advice to Project team on contractual issues.
13. Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure that all Customer complaints are attended in time and necessary corrective/preventive actions are taken accordingly.
14. Review of and advice to Project Teams on contractual claims submitted by other parties.
15. Project dispute management.
16. Ensure that fees are claimed from Clients in accordance with the provisions of the contract.
17. Ensure that claims for fees from Sub-Consultants are checked and paid in accordance with the provisions of the contract.
18. To advise the Finance Department of cash-flows with regard to fees.
19. Identify potential commercial opportunities both on-site and off-site.
20. Assuring quality, complying specifications and drawing and satisfaction of stockholders.
21. Manage, Review and assess any EOT and claims for variations or change orders and inform the commercial and client team of the potential cost and time impact.
22. Evaluating supplier and subcontractor bids, to identify suppliers offering quality materials at budgeted rates
23. Maintain filing system for Department.
24. Identify and interview site construction staff for recruitment.
25. Preparation and undertaking of new employee induction training program within department
26. Undertaking performance appraisals for all employees within Department on a regular basis
27. Manage/encourage site/office staff to achieve and maintain good morale and team spirit.

1- Prepare Master schedule based on the contract.
2- Set work program/detailed schedule and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan Available for Executing, Procurement & cost/Financial baseline.
3- Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise project management.
