inspects Operates drilling equipment and ensures safe and efficient procedures are followed during rig up /down and drilling operations.
Oversees and inspects rig up/down of derrick and associated equipment; checks mud properties and flow.
Monitors drilling conductor hole, surface hole, and main hole.
Trips and monitors drilling string; runs and monitors cement casing.
Manipulates the control console on the rig floor.
Operates the pumps during the well control operation; records data on the well Control Record.
