1. Achieve/exceed the regional sales / collection targets specified for the assigned Products / Area on a quarterly basis.

10. Gather competitor information like product, pricing and promotions etc. to keep the pace with the market/competitor activities. Think profit not just sales at any cost.
11. Develop KPIs for ASMs, ensure periodic progress review, and ensure performance appraisals for all staff, and recommend rotation / increments as appropriate.
12. Attend management meetings with the Line Manager and contribute to the planning activities with respect to products / Suppliers.
13. Coordinate and communicate with relevant internal/external parties and ensure that all the aspects/arrangements of promotions are made on a timely basis in order to maintain the company image and assure that the promotional objectives are acme

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Plan, market and manage the product life cycle, profitability including facelift in terms of product, price, place and promotion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Research Market product penetration / competitor activity/ pricing / relevant information and negotiate better deal, profit margin, offers, promotions, support with the suppliers.
2. Prepare Sales Plan / budget for products and present it for approval. Confirm targets with Line Manager.
3. Place orders /manage inventory controls according to sales performance of each SKU, maintain zero dead stock, regularly monitor product performance/inventory position.
4. Communicate / Train / Update the sales teams with tools that support selling of your products / merchandising / development.
5. Setup & Monitor monthly, quarterly, half yearly objectives / profitability ratios / achieve these objectives.
6. Conceive /develop and implement innovative promotional programs/ events that drive the product, evaluate effectiveness of the investments.
7. Plan launch of new products /releases and manage the cross functional implementation of the program.
8. Manage product lines though their life cycles - Core/ Seasonal / promotional.
9. Monitor Merchandising / product development - Line/Range/Depth to achieve maximum sales exposure.
