•Study the scope of work & tender document and prepare the tender review sheet then prepare/review the basic design, create the estimation BOQ and link it with client BOQ
•Arranging for and attending site visits. prepare detailed visit report and attending clarification meetings with client.
•Liaison with internal departments (Design, Planning, HSE and Quality Control) to ensure that all relevant input received is compliant with ITB requirements. •Prepare Comparison studies based on supplier’s quotation.
•Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product.
•Delegating Draftsmen for quantity take offs, cross checking quantities.
I am a Mechanical Engineer with 7 years of experience in the field of Water & Wastewater Treatment as a Proposal & Design Engineer and the following are my Responsibilities:-
• Review project specifications and requirements
• Prepare preliminary process design and equipment sizing
• Prepares cost calculations and estimations
• Issue RFQ and Contact with vendors and suppliers for equipment and systems
• Prepare Process flow diagrams, P&ID, and layouts
• Prepare technical submittals for awarded projects
• Direct Draughtsman in the production of tender drawings
• Develop a strategy for each tender in conjunction with other members of the team
• Provide technical support for sales and projects.
• Attend pre-bid meetings with clients and consultants for tender clarifications
• Assist the development of engineering documents during execution.
Resolve Project Matters and Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information from
sites"&ports"
Checking maintenance reports and answering questions and requests
Laising between project manager and site engineers
Ensuring that project keep to budget and timescale
●Drawing Process flow diagrams(PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
● Drawing plant layout.
●Design, model and document process plants with AutoCAD Plant 3D .
Company Field is Building up Water Desalination Plants work with Reverse Osmosis Technology
➢As a RO Mechanical and Maintenance Engineer for a year and my job responsibilities are :-
● Operate and maintain the Reverse Osmosis Plant to produce
optimum quality, potable water.
● Management and supervision of the plant personnel.
● Inspect, service and repair components of the water treatment plant
including water intakes, pipes, water storage vessels, chemical
treatment equipment controls, circulation pumps, and valves.
● Organizing routine servicing schedules.
● Allocating work to a team of fitters.
● Fitting new parts.
● Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns.
● Keep a daily log.
● Recommend the purchase of goods and equipment.
● Also worked in Installation, and erecting of sea water desalination plants.
➢As a Technical office Mechanical Engineer for four years and my job responsibilities are :-
●Prepare P&ID and PFD for RO desalination plants.
●3D Design and workshop drawing.
●Create the design for project using softwares such as Toray RO membrane projection.
●Assist with Automation process concept.
●Develop Bills of Material
i have seen all production lines there and learned alot about manufacturing processes practically
