MB Climate/ Fawaz Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Co. is one of the main players in the HVAC market in GCC. It is also a sister company for SKM air conditioning ( the manufacturing arm of the group), Kuwait Japanese air conditioning company and MB Climate.

• Leading a team of 300 employees across all GCC countries.
• Managing, directing and controlling end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations in 6 countries on strategic, tactical and operational levels in a sophisticated SC multi-echelon network of 1200 suppliers & service provider, 3000 customers, 25 warehouses, 30 showrooms and 90, 000 orders delivery/year.
• Developing, monitoring and improving a wide range of SC key performance indicators related to service excellence, product excellence and operational excellence in supply chain.
• P&L accountability.

Managed Functions:
1- S&OP
• Responsible for directing the monthly Sales and Operations Planning meeting to review the Demand Vs Supply gaps and to discuss and resolve sales/supply/inventory issues.

2- Demand Planning:
• Helps Sales Managers in preparing the annual sales forecast/plans through providing full information about new products maps, lead times, costs, delivery conditions.
• Reviews and amends the Demand Plan on monthly bases in the monthly S&OP meeting.

3- Supply Planning
• Prepares annual supply and inventory plans based on sales forecast to prepare the budget.
• Reviews and amends the Supply Plan on monthly bases in the monthly S&OP meeting.


4- Orders Management
• Handles all customers orders from the phase of receiving the customer’s PO to the phase of delivering the order to the customer On Time In Full.

5- Contracts Management
• Draft, review, negotiate all foreign and local supply contracts.

6- Purchasing
• Responsible for all foreign and local purchasing activities starting from the phase of receiving the purchase request, collecting quotations, negotiating prices and terms, comparing quotations, taking purchasing decision, issuing purchase orders, following up shipping, following up customs clearance and up to receiving the order in warehouse.

7- Logistics
• Responsible for Inbound logistics and shipping from wide network of global suppliers to the company’s warehouse at optimum cost and shortest lead time.
• Responsible for outbound logistics and shipping from company’s warehouses to a wide network of thousands of customers all over GCC, all deliveries are done at optimum cost, on time and in full.

8- Warehouses Management
• Responsible for managing 25 warehouse in 6 countries including all activities of receiving, inspection, storage, picking and shipping to customers.

9- Inventory Planning and Control
• Responsible for all inventory planning and inventory analysis activities to determine inventory replenishment policy, back to back orders policy, minimum stocks, maximum stocks, re-order points, inventory turns/category…

10- Customers’ Service
• Follow up customer requirement after receiving the PO to make sure that all orders are delivered as per the requirements of the customer.
• Follow up distributers’ on shelf availability.
• Follow up customers’ issues related to deliveries.
• Follow-up customers returns if any.
• Follow-up the warranty status through serial numbers.
Achievements:
• Reduced procurement and logistics costs by 4% in 2017 which resulted in 28M AED saving.
• Improved Inventory Accuracy (value wise) from average of 95% to 99.93% across all countries.
• Increase Inventory Turnover from 2.6 in 2015 to 4.1 in 2017 (Industry average is 3.5).
• Improved On-Time; In-Full (OTIF) orders deliveries from an average of 80% to 95%

Led a team of more than 350 employees.
* Managed, directed and controlled the supply chain operations of 67 stores, including inventory
management, fleet management, distribution center activities, stores replenishment and logistics.
* Increased inventory turnover from 10 to 15 (Industry average is 11).
* Increased stores’ On-Shelf Availability (OSA) from 75% to 95%.
* Decreased order picking cycle time from 6 hours to 2 hours through applying Wave Picking techniques.
* Decrease Store’s Orders unloading time from 90 minutes to 18 minutes.

Responsible for all supply chain planning, logistics, orders management, financial trade and
documentation activities in the company.
* Led a team of 80 employees in both Doha and the international offices in 28 countries.
* Managed third party logistics and distribution contracts of more than QR170M.
* Managed the distribution activities of 6000 customers and 20 global distribution centers in 110
countries.
* Managed ocean freight and land transport operations of more than 100, 000 containers per annum.

Led the activities of strategic sourcing, procurement, production & material planning (MRP), logistics,
warehouses and customs clearance.
* Managed the sourcing activities of 8 product lines (electronic cards, processors, electronic components,
computers, monitors, LCD TV and software).
* Introduced and implemented a new assembly project that increased company revenue by 30%.
