• Actively supervise program assistants to ensure that beneficiaries are selected and registered according to defined targeting criteria and the standard operation procedures;
• Oversee the distribution of in-kind assistance, cash and vouchers across program locations, ensuring assistance is provided according to need;
• Work with other sectors, including Health, Environmental Health and Protection to ensure vulnerable cases are prioritized;
• Prepare work plans and distribution schedules, in coordination with program assistants and the ERD Manager.
• Engage with program assistants to integrate the program objectives and to achieve the proposed targets.

• Manage day - to - day relationships between the IRC and implementing partner(s) inside of Sudan.
• Support the ERD Manager in capacity building activities.
• Support mobile data collection activities within program sites.
• Assist in identifying potential implementing partners for the IRC, and in coordination with the program coordinator(s), assess their capacity.
• Actively liaise with relevant local stakeholders, including local community leadership to ensure the smooth implementation of the activities.
• Representation and local coordination, including other NGOs.
Staff Supervision and Capacity Building:
• Directly supervise Program Assistants, including Outreach/Incentive Workers.
• Set clear job expectations and performance objectives with each team member and review these every 3 months as per the Performance Review schedule.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, capacity building and specialized training to staff on an ongoing basis.

Position directly supervises: ERD Assistants and ERD Incentive Workers

Other Internal and/or external contacts:
• Internal: close collaboration with other IRC Sudan programs Protection, Health, Environmental Health, Grants, Supply Chain, HR and Finance Departments.
• External: close collaboration with other humanitarian actors, local implementing partners, UN agencies, government, and service providers at operational and field level.

Technical Advisor for vocational training and entrepreneurship promotion at GIZ

• Providing professional advisory services to women in vocational training, basic qualification and entrepreneurship;
