• To monitor and review all aspects of PCD functions on projects to ensure that the quality of the cost engineering and planning/scheduling product is in accordance with the established company procedures and expectations.
• To supervise and assist the PCD Team and assigned team in the preparation and presentation of cost and schedule forecasts and any other special project performance / status reviews as required.
• To work with assigned business line management to address any specific problems or concerns related to the project and/or PCD staff functions.
• To work with Operations and Tendering in preparing Preliminary Project Execution Plan (PPEP) during the proposal phase and with the Project team in preparing the final PEP immediately after a project is awarded.
• To provide technical guidance, training and staffing support in cost engineering and planning/scheduling functions in all projects.
• Supervises cost recording, monitoring, and reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards and procedures. Supervises and is responsible for the development and accuracy of cost status reports. Verifies consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility. Responsible for issuing reports required by management and project(s) procedures.
• Supervises investigating requirements for cost control data for a specific discipline or other specialty applications. Identifies needs for cost analysis support for the project(s), and recommends development or modification of cost engineering data standards. Supervises performance of cost analysis activities within the project(s).
• Coordinates information input into specific studies. Responsible for integration of activities and total work scope identification. Evaluates study results and recommends conclusions for project(s) team consideration and discussion. Supervises/directs project(s) schedule staffing and quantity reporting.
• Assists in developing unit job-hour and pricing data for a specific discipline or other specialty. Performs data analysis, identifies problems, and makes recommendations.
• Creates and implements measurement systems for given processes, analyzes performance metric results, and identifies improvements.
• To review cost data source documents (PO’s, Subcontracts) and similar documents for
assignment of correct cost codes.
• To maintain project records of cost data for all cost analysis and reporting functions from
various sources.
• To assemble data for preparation of project cost reports and cost forecasts.
• To identify areas of budget concern and potential impact on project financial
performance.
• To assist with implementation and operation of MCSIS when applied to a project
operation, and monitors work
• Productivity against established norms.
• To apply Company policies and procedures and Country labor law as related to
manpower daily and overtime rates
• For forecast and future planning reports.
• To work with all project disciplines to ensure understanding of total project cost budget
allowances and targets.
• To be responsible for total integration of project cost control and reporting activities.
• To supervise and direct the obtaining of required cost information for all cost analysis
and reporting functions from
• Various sources, both on and off project. i.e. Tendering.
• To identify areas of budget concern and potential impact on project financial
performance.
• To plan, organize and supervise collection of data and issue of project cost reports and
preparation of cost forecasts.
• To assist with implementation and operation of MCSIS when applied to a project
operation, and monitors work
• Productivity against established norms.
• To assist in performing planning engineer functions as required.

•Prepare the budget and discuss it.
•Verify that the timing program of schedule is applied.
