Responsibilities as Technical Office Engineer:
• Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with
management.
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress;coordinating activities;resolving problems.
• Prepares project status reports
• Provides support in preparation of the material submittals, method of statements, structural & architectural shop drawings and bar bending schedule (BBS) for the
structure elements.
• Ensuring all procedures and calculations are submitted to the client for review and approval.
• Review and reply to project client / consultant’s comments on the technical
submittals.
• Assist the construction and project managers for various assignments.
• Attends the Weekly Progress Meetings (Internal as well as with Client).
• Coordinate the works between Civil & MEP.
• Monitoring site works in construction stage and prepares weekly report.
• Float RFQ and follow up for the quotations.
• Interact with the suppliers or material contractors for the clarity of the specs, BOQ &
drawings and better pricing.
• Coordinate with suppliers on timely delivery of the materials.
• Prepare a comprehensive budget for civil works of the project.
• Submit, follow up and obtain NOC’s/Permits with authorities.
Responsibilities as Estimation Engineer:
• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, specifications, and related documents.
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Attending site visit to collect all information about tender and prepare site visit report
• Understand contractual terms and conditions.
• Provide clear detailed quantity take offs.
• Send inquires to suppliers/subcontractors and obtain quotations.
• Complete Budgeting and Scheduling for projects and track same.

Job Description: Technical Office & Site Engineer.

KEY PROJECTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise the construction of Water Treatment Plant Structures thus, excavation and backfilling works, concrete treatment works at the leakage points and installation of CS 1200, 1400, 1600 & 1800mm pipes.
• Conduct site survey, site setting out and leveling.
• Execute of retaining walls using secant walls for intake tank with depth 13.0m below ground level and very close from River Nile.
• Execute of piling works using temporary casing method, dewatering (deep wells method) and concreting works for all structures related to water treatment plant including formwork works, reinforced works, and underground waterproofing works.
• Conduct survey and execute trust boring works to pass CS1800mm pipeline from intake to new water plant crossing the main road.
• Execute of finishing works such as plastering, painting, tiling, epoxy flooring etc.
• Execute internal asphalt works which includes kerbstone and paving tile works and drainage works
• Ensure all works and materials used are as per specifications.
• Coordinate in designing the civil structures of the project.
• Prepare the invoices of sub-contractors and Client’s payment certificate.
• Involve in project coordination and execution for the construction of all kind of civil works.
• Plan and schedule the work and efficiently organize the site / facilities in order to meet an agreed programmed of deadlines.
• Work as instructed and monitor as per the quality norms.
• Oversee quality control and safety matters on the site and ensure that regulations are adhered to.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise the construction and manage the site in plumbing works, excavation and backfilling works.
• Conduct site survey, site setting out and leveling.
• Execute all concrete works (foundations, substructure and super structure), steel structure for maintenance building and car parking shed, finishing works such as plastering, painting, tiling, marbles etc.
• Execute of external asphalt road works which includes kerbstone and paving tile works and riprap works.
• Execute of boundary wall including all concreting works, block works, plastering, painting and steel gates.
• Plan and design part of the building - conference.
• Analyze the propose terms like construction cost, technical requirements, sustainability and quality.
• Review the designs and drawings.
• Prepare and review documentation for regulatory approvals and contract issues.
• Analyze challenges and prospective risks in the project.
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure safety and sanitation standards.
• Look after the construction, operations and maintenance activities on site.
