MIM is involved in providing business consultancy services like feasibility study, corporate governance model, business development, business valuation etc. Company also has its sister concern Asel Al Maayer (Associated with Martten Cox & Associates), which is providing auditing services to many SMEs in UAE.

Roles & Responsibilities
Participate and lead the team for various assignments in the following fields:
 Financial & Management Accounting Field;
• Preparing various MIS reports to the top management including Cost Variance, P&L variances in comparison with budget, Cash Flow Statement, Balance Sheet, Trend analyses (Ratio Analyses) & inter-company accounts reconciliation etc. within the prescribed deadlines.
• Verify and finalize the monthly payroll from HR department & ensure postings are made in an accurate manner;
• Assisting accounting staff in month end and year end postings and other related technical matters;
• Finalization of monthly, quarterly, half yearly & annual financial statements after posting of accruals and necessary adjusting entries (Prepayments, Depreciation, Provisions etc.) within the prescribed deadlines;
• Reviewing bank reconciliations, Account Receivables Reconciliation, Account Payable Reconciliation;
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to International Accounting Standards (IASs) & International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs)
• Analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.

 Management & Consultancy Field;
• Provide assistance in Feasibility study & Business plan projects.
• Provide assistance in preparing evaluation reports related to legal cases.
• Provide assistance in reviewing different types of contract.
• Facilitate the coordination with government authority & ministries.
• Verification of payment to suppliers by checking supporting documents and compliance of all the control procedures devised for payment procedure;
• Providing guidance to all subordinate staff ensuring compliance with the prevailing accounting practices and company policies and procedures
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of Internal Controls System (ICS).

 Audit Field;
• Examines and analyzes accounting records to determine financial status of establishment and prepares financial reports.
• Reviews data regarding material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures.
• Inspects books of original entry to determine if accepted accounting procedure was followed in recording transactions.
• Prepares reports for management concerning scope of audit, financial conditions found, and source and application of funds.
• Provide recommendations regarding improving operational and financial position of company.
• Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.
• Review monthly account reconciliations.
• Other roles as requested by the management.

My Main responsibilities were as follows:
• Review of figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
• Classification, recording, and summarizing numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers.
