Job Description
Plan and manage all Electrical Engineering projects by taking a hands-on approach to the job, to ensure that verification and electrical engineering design methodologies support product and safety requirements and that development processes fall within established timelines and established standards.
Define project requirements, develop RFPs, estimate costs, obtain approvals, engineering design, procure materials, supervise construction and assist commissioning.
Organizes and monitors the work of support staff, refinery personnel, contractors and vendors during all project phases including; engineering, drafting, construction, and inspection. Testing and commissioning.
Core Responsibilities Management
* Manage the effective achievement of the Electrical Engineering unit objectives through managing the performance of the engineering team, contractors and consultants.
* Prepare and recommend the Electrical Engineering project's budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget.
* Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, security, quality and environmental management procedures and controls across the Electrical Engineering unit activities.
* Determine the requirements for developing group projects and prepare initial technical reports for new projects. Perform electrical designs, editing & reviewing of master electrical specifications & BOQS.
* Provided Engineering support to new business development activities including conceptual engineering studies complete with planning and costing of development options. Provide electrical engineering recommendations and technical support on electrical engineering reviews, strategic plans, and projects.
* Manage and follow up with consultancy offices and contractors during the stages of project implementation through setting parameters to mitigate unexpected problems.
- Project Manager of BENYA Factory of Fiber Optic Cables (SIDIC) since February 2022 till September 2022 performing all the duties of project manager at the same time holding the position of Electrical Construction Head with the duties shown below
- Establish Construction supervision plans for all the projects under scope .
- Assign and Manage the Senior Site Engineers and site Engineers for all supervision activities . provide evaluation reports and appraisals for them .
- Follow up QA/QC procedures on sites .
- Attend periodic sites visits to ensure achievement of both progress and quality .
- Coordinate with the Resident Engineers for all technical and management issues .
- Coordinate and share the related Technical Office reviews and approval .
- Coordinate with the design sector for all related design issues and follow up RFI’s.
- Attend Follow up meetings with the clients and main contractors .
- Apply quality assurance audit and reviews for all technical and supervision reviews including some factory tests for major Electrical Equipment for witness satisfying the specification requirements .
- Provide Corrective action plans for all construction supervision defects .

Duties include lead group of Engineers to apply project management and construction supervision to survive the quality assurance requirements, achievement of the implementation of the Electrical Works within planned timescale. the major responsibilities including the following : -
- Study drawings, specification and contractual obligations, keeping abreast of all revisions.
- Review and approval of material submittals.
- Review and approval of shop drawing.
- Maintain daily diaries of events associated with the work on site by using ECG related form.
- Plan / schedule work priorities.
- Monitor the work being undertaken by the junior Engineers and site supervisors, taking any necessary remedial action to ensure full compliance with contract documents, specifications, method statements, policies and procedures.
- Ensure that work practices are compliant with codes, policies and procedures including ISO, local labor laws and safety procedures taking appropriate corrective action and/or reporting where non-compliance is identified.
- Record / input into data collection systems, produce standard reports to ensure project delivery.
- Produce weekly program, method statements, risk assessments.
- Monitor reviews, comments and reports on progress payments, quality control and safety.
- Prepares /initiate draft correspondence for approval and issuance by Construction Manager / Resident Engineer.
- Assist as applicable, with Pre-tender and pre-construction activities for contracts relative to the site / sites under my scope, provide input for all change orders and claims analysis, study, and give comments on Contractors Claims.
- Assist the Construction Manager / Resident Engineer in preparing the monthly progress reports.
- Reviews and approval of the As Built drawing.
- Witness and supervise the commissioning and start-up activities.
- Assist in preparing the final acceptance and completion report.
- Review and present the evaluations of contractors payments.
For the Following Projects ( Client Marakez ) :-
- Aeon Towers
The first high rise towers in 6th October city, 3 towers 22 floors sharing a podium of 2 levels including Residential Apartments and recreation facilities ( Swimming Pool, Gym, SPA…etc. ) with a luxury level . The project is addition to the land mark Mall of Arabia and complement to the (G+3) compound .
The Project Value exceeds one Billion EGP investment . Main contractor is HAC (Hassan Allam Construction ) .
- Mall of Kattameya
The Land Mark of the district 5 project which is developed by Marakez at south west of Cairo ( Egypt ) . High standard shop mall with complete facilities at the state of art for all Electrical and Mechanical . Competitive Architectural and Electromechanical Design by ECG . Luxury finishes and smart controls . with investments touches one Billion EGP by Marakez ( The fast Growing Developer), The Construction Contractor is GAMMA .
Client: Ministry of Interior-KAP-2 (King Abdullah Project Phase 2) - Mega Project total value touching 26 Billion SAR
As a part of Project Management team
I had the responsibility of Electrical Head of site supervision of Jeddah area (4 sites ) . (Package Value exceed one Billion SAR
Responsibilities : -
* Manage the Electrical Site Engineers and Electrical Inspectors, guide and direct them technically to provide the most efficient site supervision and control on contractor's electrical works execution .
* Follow up the site progress and apply the necessary coordination with all disciplines at site and technical office .
* Advise the technical solutions and approve the site inspection requests technically .
* Review the weekly plans and advise the required correction .
* Review the material deliveries and technical approval of the material inspection requests .
* Review and approval of shop drawings .
* Review and technical approval of field change requests .
* Review and technical replies to the contractor's request for information .
* Apply QA/QC for all Electrical works .
* Follow up site progress and project achievements with respect to the baseline through Bi-weekly follow up meetings with stakeholders( all disciplines, client and contractor) .
* Issue the site instructions and NCR's.
* Review and technical approval of the pack up calculations of the executed works .
*Review and technical approval for the Electrical Work Notification for starting new activity or new work zone .
During the first 10 months in my employment I was in main head office until the jeddah area sites startup, during this period I have the responsibilities of the technical office as follows:-
* Design Review and design verification .
* Review and technical approval for material submittals .
* Review and technical approval for contractor's shop drawings .
* Review and technical approval for all project plans (QA/QC, DC, ...etc.).
* Review and technical replies to RFI's

Executing Multiple MEP projects small and medium value starting from estimation, tendering, project initiation, stakeholder's meetings . up to projects’ testing and commissioning for hand over through perfect projects management criteria .
Client : Um Alqura University -UQU Campus Alabdeya - Mega Project total 4 Billion SAR running projects .
I have joined the Team Which employed by Saud Consult Upon Selection done by the University Management to perform the Project Management of the running Projects and update future master plan for next 10 and 25 years.
• Lead group of engineers to implement Design Review, Shop drawing Review, Material approvals, Respond to Contractor clarification request (DCR), monitor the sites activities ensuring complete contractors commitment to Specifications, Contract and technical comments on submittals, Issue Non Compliance Reports (NCR)and Site instructions (SI). Review the Interim Payment Certificates (IPC) and Supervise Electrical Power demand studies (done by Zuhair Fayez Consultants) for updated Master Plan 10 years and Master Plan 25 years.

The Campus designed to be served by Central BMS System, Central IP Telephone & Data System and Central Fire alarm System.
Project : JODP - Jabal Omar Development - High Rise Towers MEGA Project Value touching 8 Billion SAR
• Lead group of engineers to implement, develop and review the MEP coordination and coordinate with the designers to survive the construction needs and supervise the construction as well.
Projects:-
- Pertro-Rabiegh, ARAMCO-KSA, Project include - 6 types miscellaneous purpose building.
- King Abdullah Air Defense Collage Stadium and multi-purpose halls-Al-Taef.

- The 4.400 project (General science Labs &Auditoriums) Faculty of Engineering KAU, Jeddah.
- Low current installations (First Fix) in King Abdullah Palace, AL-Rawdah dist. Riyadh.

- Installation of complete CCTV system in 14 airports upgraded to international grade, all over KSA, The system include both digital and IP camera types.
• Establish, develop and manage teams of engineers to implement the Engineering (shop drawings and material submittals), Procurement and construction management, plan and monitoring the cash flow, establish long term accounts with the suppliers of common resources depending on history of good deals. Managing the tendering for new projects, Attend the negotiation meetings with the clients to solve the contractual issues, ensure payments schedule, achieve new contracts and variation orders.
AL-Farsi North Towers are, 3 Nos. High Rise Towers (34-Storeys ), direct on the Red Sea Beach on North Jeddah, My Responsibility is to manage The Electrical Works in The North Tower (No.1 ) and the recreation area ( Podium Level ).
As Consultant Representative Electrical Engineer, AL-Awael Engineering Consultants office, in the Ministry of Education, Girls Div .
I Have managed successfully as a consultant Representative 18 girls Schools different types and sizes in Qassim includes Low Voltage systems and Low Current Systems. In addition to install CCTV system in1-Girls Collage and Fire alarm System in 49 old schools, also responsible of bidding BOQ and Specs Preparations, Approval of material and contractors.
Electrical Design Engineer, AL-Kawther Industries Ltd, In the field of water treatment plants, designing 1500 m3/day sea water treatment plant for Arabian Cement Company (ACC) factory in Rabiegh, KSA, The Design include the sizing and selection of Electrical Equipment, Protection, Cables, Panels and Process Automation System automated By PLC and Managed by SCADA system . Also administration of panel Manufacture and Pre-Site Commissioning.
Main Plant produce ductile Iron pipes (range 100 to 1000 mm diameters) and its accessories by the centrifugal casting technology, which utilizing. Hydraulic system Mannesmann Rexroth oil hydraulic devices. This System is Integrated with DC-motor drives Siemens Ranges up To 100 KW and whole System is automated by PLC Siemens S5 , internal transportation is done by DEMAG cranes.
• Implement technical analysis of stoppage times in order to improve The Availability. Provide technical solutions, long term plans and procedures for Troubleshooting of any stoppage by maintenance or modifying circuitry without affecting operation and guided by know-how documents and adding new feature or parts and upgrading of control electronic parts .ensure spare parts availability of old version with local reverse engineering.
I had unpaid holiday from El-Nasr Casting Company to be free for Planning for updating of control system of planner and milling machine for big work pieces, The project include Planning, Design, Selection, Installation, Calibration, Programming and Testing which all under my supervision . The result is converting the machine system from Hard wired control to the programmable logic control with the advantage of the HMI ( Human Machine Interface ) system .and installing new drives to achieve quality of surfaces. The project succeeded to achieve the quality and cost saving.
• I worked about 3 years as a designer and a supervisor in the field of Interior Design .note that the 3-years are discontinuous periods, cause, my study.
