- Oversee complete logistical support to Oman Sail Teams including shipping, accommodation, food and transport.
- Supervise day-to-day transactions of the logistics activities and ensure the implementation of them as per company policy.
- Ensure the maintain of up to date country and plant shipping instruction by mode of transportation.
- Negotiates agreements with local carriers, forwarding and customs agents.
- Coordination with the projects managers in preparation of goods shipping.
- Supervise the movement of the goods ship to end destination and ensure the compliance with shipping instructions.
- Obtain import and export permits and licenses, whenever necessary.
- Maintaining financial records for department and assisting the Head of Department in collecting the detailed monthly spend of diverse teams.
- Follow- up with insurance companies to ensure the coverage of overseas freight and in Oman transportation.
- Assisting in sorting travel visas and booking flights and accommodation for personnel participating in the event.
- Process and follow-up with the payments of the contractors and supplier and keeps recorded.
- Assist Head of Logistics in conduct regular performance reviews and appraisal existing logistics suppliers, contractors, agents & service-providers to assess their performance.
- Assist in the various events throughout the year undertaking roles as specified by the Head.
- Contributing to Event logistics as and when required.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and related documents in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up to date purchasing records/data and pricing in the system
- Source, select and negotiate the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
- Assist in managing and following up overseas orders
- Follow-up the containers or goods moves from the port to the end user
- Follow-up the goods moves from the warehousing to the end user
- Prepare the documents and files
- Check out the goods delivered to the yard
- Review the billings with the accounts
- Preparing flight plan
- Preparing weather condition
- Preparing flight schedule
- Preparing cabin crew schedule.
- Booking materials for rigs and hoists.
- Check warehouse materials.
- Matching the SAP data with the warehousing inventory.
