HR Business Partner is a newly created organization within Sadara, whose focus is to work closely with proponents and staff to achieve shared organizational objectives. I have been nominated by Industrial Relations (IR) Managers with my colleague to be the first Tree HR Advisors holding this valuable position. When I have been assigned to this position, I did “As is” report that describes the current procedures and practices in all business lines. As a team, I have presented a road map for a transformational change toward making HR functions work in a systematic fashion.

I am currently responsible to provide assistance and guidance to proponents and staff on our suggested plan that includes a broad range of HR services, policies, programs, and practices. In addition, I am providing solutions to a diverse range of complex HR related problems to our executives after do a benchmarking exercise and see whatever fits with our policy, regulations and culture.

 Deliver a comprehensive HR service to the manufacturing plant, ensuring the effective application and full compliance with people policies, practices and procedures.
 Successful management of employee relations e.g. managing absence, disciplinary matters - conduct & capability, grievances.
 Drive effective performance management through coaching line managers on dealing with performance management issues.
 Responsible for providing the business with regular management information reports to support improvement of measures e.g. sickness, overtime.
 Delivery of appropriate contractual documents relating to terminations, appointments and employment variations through liaison with the HR Shared Service function.
 Advising and supporting line managers on selection and recruitment decisions including the completion of the necessary recruitment requests, creation of job descriptions/person specification, management of vacancy advertising, selection process, and interview panel participation.
 Ensure that there is fairness and consistency in reward and benefits across the site in recruitment and promotions.
 Participating in training activities, encouraging and supporting staff in their training and development needs
 Support local succession and talent planning to compliment national picture.
 Responsibility for the administration of employee surveys and feedback processes
 Ensure that all HR policies and procedures shared with proponents are implemented and maintained, provide advice as needed to business leaders in order to achieve compliance and equity.
 Participate, as required, in change management activities, surveys, and awareness campaigns conducted by IR departments and provide advice and recommendations to both to ensure effective implementation and alignment with the business leaders.
 Act as an advisor and provides solutions to a diverse range of complex HR related problems.
 Working closely with leaders developing strategy for Saudization in order to meet the company target as well as maintain the attrition for Saudi employees.
 Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
 Heavily engaged & accomplished several projects & Workshops during 2017 ( Low Performers Actions, forecasting Hiring Plan, Succession Plan, Develop Ideal Profiles for leaders, Performance Calibration Sessions, Labor Cost reduction).

The dissertation was titled: “An Analysis of Smart Phone Services Marketing Strategy and the Impact on the Consumer”. The Aim : To examine the services marketing strategy of mobile network companies in the UK when marketing services for smart phones and the impact this has on the consumer. The Objectives are: To compare the promotion strategies between the four main companies when they promote services for smart phones, the companies will be O2, Orange, Vodafone and T-Mobile. To assess the impact that the marketing of smart phone services has on the customer The study aims to look at the impact of services marketing on the consumer so it very important to understand the consumers behaviour. Therefore, the study looks at consumer behaviour in relation to services and how customers perceive services. Moreover, the study also aims to analyse the service provider’s strategy. Received B + (Merit) for dissertation.
