- Represent Johnson Controls KSA factory at regional level for assigned commodities in-depth analysis for commodity strategy.
- Developing new suppliers, updating the status of the existing ones and alternating vendors for the materials as per company policy.
- Leading Critical Commodities (Copper, Steel, Aluminum, Motors, Fans, Compressors) for the factory.
- Strong Global Sourcing Base, Low Cost & Best Cost Country Sourcing.
- Analyze the expenditure of $900 M in terms of (Days Payable Outstanding) DPOs, currencies, geographical sources and suppliers’ type.
- Manage DPO (Days Payable Outstanding) by working with suppliers to extend Payment Terms impacting directly TWC (Trade Working Capital).
- LC & LG Negotiations with Suppliers
- Liaising between engineering, marketing - acting as a "bridge" between the technical and commercial wings of the company.
- Taking approval from Technical / Engineering Dept. for all the new Vendors sourced.
- Lead local and foreign sourcing relevant activities from market analysis, bidding process to supplier selection.
- Negotiates purchasing prices, delivery conditions and payment credits.
- Check product availability information to ensure deliverable dates are met.
- Create and maintain Purchase Orders & Service of Agreements.
- Follow up for supplier’s payment readiness with finance department.
- Revise bank guarantees, invoices and delivery notes before forwarding to finance department
- Interact with vendors and all other inter-departmental customers.
(Automotive Field)
- Make replenishment of spare parts of passenger car & commercial vehicles for GB service centers using ORACLE ERP, comparing stock levels and consumption pattern.
- Generate analytics for material transactions to acquire clear classification of fast-moving items and dead stock.
- Generate demand forecasts based on sales history for brands (Hyundai, Geely, Cherry, Karry, Mazda)
- Coordinate among warehouses of service centers to avoid spare parts shortage or overstock.
- Calculate inventory turnover ratio for main center of stock and fill rate ratio for each service center independently.
- Following up with the monthly, quarterly and annual KPIs
- Following up with warehousing and transportation team to ensure material arrival.
- Scheduling material collection from all service centers when recall is needed.
- Respond to service centers immediate needs which are out of the forecast.
(Home Appliances Field)
- Make and update production plan on short & long-term using Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
- Analyze daily defects ratios and causes.
- Conduct root cause analyses and set counter measures for recurring problems.
- Estimate daily damages.
- Estimate production cost per line for each product.
- Set and update KPIs of the shop floor.
- Evaluate technician’s performance on monthly basis.
Zohr Gas Field
- Perform hydro-test for pipelines
- Perform leak test for flanges of pipeline
- Co-ordinate with the client to handle their requirements within available resources in the site and deadlines.
