• Provide technical advice for Commissioning of power plant and combustion tuning of GT(Gas Turbine), ST(Steam Turbine), Generator after the completion of planned maintenance.
• Perform vibration adjustment of gas turbine rotor during planned maintenance as necessary.
• Confirm the operation condition after the completion of planned maintenance and if there is any abnormality, solve the problem.
• Support OPM/FSM in all technical, commercial, and contractual matters.
• Prepare work schedule of commissioning which is necessary for planned
maintenance.
• Review Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs) for safe and operable
features.
• Provide first response of operation and combustion tuning support to the
Aramco when a trouble is occurred during the normal operation at site. The work includes proposal, instruction to the site, trouble shooting, confirmation of the fact, repair work, etc.
• Assist OPM/FSM to make an estimate about service outage inspection of GT, ST, Generator.
I worked as Generation Engineer in Rabigh Power Plant Two (RPP2), and I had many Responsibilities:
• Assigning to Rabigh Power plant expansion.
• Following up the on-going construction activities.
• Reviewing all technical documents for Mechanical systems.
• Verifying a new installation of Pumps, Compressor, Boiler, steam turbine, valves and
fans.
• Attending all Mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for Rabigh
Power plant expansion, mainly the load test for Pumps, Compressor, Boiler, steam turbine, valves and fans.
I studied and trained in the general engineer course of operation and mechanical maintenance systems of power plant.
I have started my degree at KAU with an introduction to key mechanical engineering topics, such as statics and dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, stress analysis, mechanical design and technical drawing. As the course progresses, I learned more opportunities to specialize in a particular field within which mechanical engineering skills are applied, such as engine design, HVAC and energy.
