Conduct risk assessment of assigned department or functional area in established/required timeline • Establish risk-based audit programs
• Determine scope of review in conjunction with the Audit Manager • Review the suitability of internal control design
• Conduct audit testing of specified area and identify reportable issues and dimension of risk
• Determine compliance with policies and procedures.
• Verbally communicate findings to senior management and draft comprehensive and complete report of audit area
# Responsible for:-
*• Recording the journal entries in the daily cash spreadsheets and review daily cash balance with the movement of the treasury and conducting the monthly inventory control over the public treasury of the company.
*• Preparing the monthly reconciliation of bank balances with the book balances payroll bank account and settlement and the work of a memorandum of the settlement period.
*• Reviewing and recording the sales invoices and calculating monthly revenue
*• Preparing the monthly profit and loss statements
*• Preparing monthly Salary`s sheet, journal and all related transactions including employee`s presence, leave and delay reports
*• Preparing the statement of cash flow.
*• Tracking the accounts of suppliers, creditors, taxes, sister companies and the accounts of the holding company
*• Tracking the accounts of suppliers, creditors, taxes, sister companies and the accounts of the holding company
*• Auditing all the payments requests whether cash or checks and daily cash flows.
*• Making trial balance audit in order to discover and correct errors before preparing the monthly report
*• Assisting the financial manager in preparing monthly budget.
*• Conducting the profitability analysis through the distribution of revenues and costs over cost centers to determine the profitability of each department
Key tasks and responsibilities
Process all purchases (supplier invoices) and refunds (credit notes)
Analyse purchases by expense type (coding invoices)
Obtain invoice authorisation
Account for the correct treatment of VAT on expense invoices
Set-up and maintain supplier accounts
Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve differences
Deal with supplier account queries via telephone, email and fax and resolve queries promptly
Resolve significant issues (e.g. final demand letters) promptly
Perform payment runs (BACs, CHAPS, cheques, direct debits)
Send out remittance advices
Process staff expenses (cash and credit cards)
Process credit card statements
Process cheque requisitions
Process petty cash vouchers
Monitor accruals for management accounts
Assist with purchasing, cash management and budgeting
Preparing budget and comparing the cost with the actual cost in the business
Document financial information and various transactions through the company that needs to be reported.
Identify the accounting standards and include the ways of managing discrepancies
They have main responsibility to increase the revenue and with a clear and precise method document the whole financial accounting to remain within the regulatory standards.
