Call and visit customers to introduce the company.
Organize efforts and daily activities to achieve the target for my area and provide a daily report to the direct manager.
Evaluate customer requirements, needs, and negotiate with them to finalize the deal.
Keep abreast with tender requirements, attend bid proposals and ensure requirements which are met to close the deal.
Maintain personal contact with fleet accounts and key persons in different companies to solicit, acquire and maintain business relationships
Attend to customer calls and ensures customer inquiry and requirements (i.e. quotation) to within the set standards of sales procedures.
Provide feedback to Sales Manager about competitive products, policies, distribution activities, advertising initiatives, etc. that will aid decisions on sales strategies.
Identify opportunities, produce leads and book appointments for the sales force with the emphasis on high quality leads.
Develop creative pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors
Proactively follow up leads generated from canvassing by the account managers.
Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database
Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity which can take place to generate new business
Work closely with the marketing team to achieve sales objectives
Negotiate commercial terms within set guidelines
Attend monthly meetings with the Corporate Account Managers to update information and discuss any issues
Liase effectively with all departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
Contribute to the team performance by sharing and implementing Best Practice Ideas.
As Sales executives I sell Marble and Granite for Construction Companies, in order to boost profitability and increase market share. Businesses in various industries to tailor their sales pitches, sales executives need to keep abreast of changes in the market that impact their target audience. I must understand dips and rises in demand for clients' products, lifetime and wear of machinery, and changes in the stock market that may hinder sales. In addition, I should be aware of the sales strategies of competitors, both for their business and their clients' businesses. The more alert a sales executive is, the more accurately the needs of customers are targeted and new market opportunities identified. Ensure that operations are smooth to reinforce the strength of the relationship.
For ongoing projects or large orders, as a sales executive I am responsible for negotiating the terms of the sale and drawing up a contract.
