- Providing diagnostic support for resolution of issues by performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommending improvements to control system hardware, software, logic, HMI and Procedures.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of control systems.

- Point and logic configuration in DCS and ESD system, and Graphics Modification.
- Supporting day today Alarm management activity.
- Implementing Vendor recommendations related to control system to keep system up do date.
- Responsible for design, specification, selection and services related to Basic Process Control Systems, Safety Systems, PLCs and other control systems.
- Responsible to assist with control philosophy and functional description.
- Manage Vendor contract including maintenance and parts management.
- Programming development in C300 safety manager
- SPPA-T3000 Siemens DCS system HMI and Logic programs that meet project requirements and HMI graphics & Screens as per customer requirement,
- Production of DCS programming specifications and DCS I/O list, Production of DCS - PLC interface specifications
- Implement logics in the program by understanding the technology and control design requirements
- Perform program simulations and checkouts as per logic defined
- Modification of the program to new updated versions for the re-vamps.
- Configure, maintain, and solve Honeywell hardware and software issues including: Experion PKS, other DCS hardware / software.
- Safety system software configuration using safety builder and controller merging.
- Cause and Effect SIS SIFs System Verification /Validation.
- Lead in various Projects’ design and technical reviews in the different phases of the project (Concept/Pre-FEED/FEED/EPC/) to ensure full technical compliance to the Migration on PLC & Controllers packages Design requirements.
- Be aware of and always conduct work activities in compliance with Environment, Health, and safety (EHS) policies and International Standard.
Manage Instrumentation and Control System Maintenance in the Field assuring equipment performance targets, in a cost-effective, safe, efficient, and environmentally protective
- Lead and Provide support, Guidance /Tutoring to field Engineers on all the issues related to process and other involved disciplines.
- Recommends modifications and enhancement of the software, database and displays to improve the reliability, flexibility and performance of the Control and SCADA system and implements in agreement with Production.
- Provide I&PS expertise to incident investigation and equipment trips, analyses chronic and providing remedial engineering solutions for defect elimination and better work quality
- Evaluation of vendor’s quotations, clarifications, Technical Bid Analysis etc.
- knowledge of instrumentation and control systems related international codes and standards.
- Design Review of vendor’s documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications and calculations
- Provide Project upgrade plan for obsoleted products/systems (DCS, PLC I&PS, Telecom, etc.)
- Review Management of Change (MOC) documents, Overrides Control
- Conduct ICSS (FAT/SAT), Commissioning and Startup Tests for all process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
