• Spearheading a team of 9 members for the IT Operations & IT Infrastructure
• Conducting regular capacity planning assessments of the virtualization environments
• Coordinating with various vendors for hardware delivery and installation
• Maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the infrastructure environment (Windows Server, Client, Servers Hardware, SCOM, Hyper-V, Nexthink, DPM, Storage, Windows Azure, and H/W Devices)
• Protecting information assets of the company against all threats (internal or external) by establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving the Information Security Management System
• Implementing and administrating Microsoft products (RDS, WSUS, DFS, SCCM and Active Directory)
• Directing & monitoring 3rd party applications (Patch manager, License Server and SofTrack Integrity)
• Understanding the client strategy, conceptualizing & managing execution of solutions for clients; collaborating with various sub-teams
• Contributing to formulation of strategies for IT project leadership and other functional areas
• Building complex workflows and diagrams to depict business and system processes.
• Managing the deployment, maintenance, support and upgrade of servers, storage hardware, software, operating systems
• Supporting and monitoring the existing infrastructure, supervising preventative maintenance and backup as well as performing other regular support activities to ensure effectiveness.
• Tracking infrastructure assets as well as ensuring the security of infrastructure and applications
• Developing cost estimates and recommending systems development as well as upgradations to existing systems; evaluating infrastructure services equipment
• Ensuring proper communication between L1 and L2 teams and observing the resolution to escalations within the given Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Scheduling architectural meetings to review different environments within the organization along with implementing corrective action plans.
• Administering data centers over a large user base and maintained data Centre servers/ backup operations for integration of new systems with the existing systems.
• Adhering to designing and complying with applicable ISO27001
• Managing IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance
