Responsibilities:
• Assembled motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids, and other electrical equipment and components according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles.
• Carried out maintenance and commissioning tests on electrical systems normally applied at electricity supply substations; including HV/ LV power cables, medium and high voltage circuit breakers and current transformers.
• Used different types of testing equipments including insulation Megger, winding resistance, circuit breaker analyzer, AC/DC Hipot, CT analyzer and transformer oil testing.
• Periodically inspected, diagnosed and corrected causes of electrical malfunction, circuit breakdowns or failure of operational equipment. Recommended or initiated modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.
• Assisted in conducting preventive maintenance checks and updates of automated equipments and machines, to avoid unscheduled stoppages.
• Suggested a backup source of energy in case the circuits become overloaded at a particular point in the production process.
• Worked with and read blueprints which indicate the locations of circuits, outlets, load centers, panel boards, and other equipment.
• Installed different types of equipment including telephone and intercom systems, computer wiring, air conditioning, fire alarm and security systems.
• Gained hands-on experience in isolating and trouble-shooting complex circuitry. Installed low resistance earth (ground) connections.
• Maintained worksheets detailing nature of assignment, parts utilized, time expended and type of work Performed. Collected data for reports and prepared cost estimates and quotations.
Key projects:
• Saudi Electrical Company:
- Reinforcement and installation of new line and transformer for 4 substations in Alanoud, Anak, Shoaiba and Hafr Albatin projects.
- Installation of control panel for Sihat project substation.
- Installation 3 lines for newly constructed stations in Almanakh, Almazroayeh, Albayoneh and King Fahd University of Petroleum & minerals (KFUPM) projects.
• Second Industrial City:
- Reinforcement of electrical station in ACDelco Company.
• Sabic Contract:
- Managed plant shutdown for 10 small substations for Petrokemya and 3 substations for Ibn Albitar companies.
• Aramco Contract:
- Alkrasaneh Gas Plant, Abu hadreh Station, Alfadaly station and Tabline.
• General Presidency for Girls' Education
- Cooperated in the maintenance of electrical Circuit and generator.
