Makes recommendations to procure goods based on costs, quality, delivery and technical specifications, Collects samples for user verification and approval. Issues purchase orders to selected suppliers, expedite delivery, makes direct purchases as per authority. Negotiates on agreeing prices & terms with suppliers to obtain best deal for the company. Ensure all Procurement activities are aligned with organizations strategy and in accordance with the established KPI Identifies and creates a list of preferred suppliers and contractors for all needed activities to ensure the provision of the best quality services/products to the site operations Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority throughout all stages of the project's life cycle.
Lead the vendors relationship including negotiations and performance evaluation (assist on all stages from RFQ to executed contract) Researching the supply chain (locally and internationally) to increase options, constraints, lead in times, current workloads, bonding capacity, experience in sector. Advice and meeting supplier's current & new suppliers with the company plan, budget to develop the good relations. Ensure facility compliance with required company reports and country specific regulatory reports. Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority throughout all stages of the project's life cycle. Developing of the procurement and project management strategy.
Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts current status against an established baseline schedule. Responsible for the accurate issues and receipts of stock. Following up with supplier's actions against material delivery status. Develop detailed schedules with resource/cost loading at the activity level. Coordinate with logistic department for the driver and vehicle availability. Prepare weekly and/or monthly progress reports covering the status of construction projects. Collaborate with plant production team to ensure key inputs prepared approved to meet the deadlines.
