PRACTICAL Experience Substation Control System (SCS)
* Install, configure, upgrade and maintain computer servers, work stations, HMIs, RTUs,
DAUs, data concentrators, protocol converters, network switches, routers, hubs, media
converters, modems, power supplies, GPS receivers, monitors, printers, video
projectors and other peripherals
* Perform regular image backup of hard disks related to DFR & DSM local and master
station computers.
* Maintain and regularly update backups on laptop of set-up files and configurations for
RTU, DFR, DSM, data concentrator, protocol converter, network switches and GPS
time servers.
* Basic troubleshooting, bench testing, module level and component level repair of
computer hardware .
* Participate in site acceptance testing & commissioning (SAT) and acceptance inspection
of new installations
* Configure network for Ruggedcom Switch in Substation Automation System
* Prepare the SCD/CID file for BCU or Protection IEDs
* Install SICAM PAS in Full Server/Station Controller and Gateway
* Add all the application in SICAM PAS with respect to FS/SC and GW
* configure the IEC101 and IEC104 addresses as per MDCL/SPL
* Create the .pxd file in SICAM PAS for SCC interface to take all the required
data(alarms, indications, commands and measurements).
* Install and Configure the WINCC in HMI system
