A senior piping engineer assigned for fabrication and erection of piping spools and pipe supports at
site in accordance with project schedule and erection plan in sulphur recovery unit at Al ZOUR
refinery project.

Project: Al Zour Refinery Project
Scope up to 160, 000 Inch Dia of piping Fabrication, Erection, Reinstatement and Pre-commissioning activities;
Supervising around 250 direct manpower.
In 2015 I secured piping

Main Duties: Fabrication and Erection for 120, 000 DIA for U/G and A/G piping
systems for naphtha hydro treating unit, punch list and Reinstatement.
project description: producing more than 4.1 million tonnes/year of refined
products, including more than 2.2 million tonnes/year of Euro 5 diesel as well as jet
fuel, gasoline, LPG, naphtha, reformate, sulphur, and coke.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning of site activity and crew allocation.
• Assign man power and equipment as per project priorities.
• Supervising site work of piping and supports erection.
• Ensures all activities carried out by subordinates are performed in accordance with company and
client safety rules.
• Provide redesign solutions for the field problems or changes (clash, mismatch, lack of material item).
• Calculating piping work front and ensure of achieving the required productivity as per the allocated
man power and project plan.
• Punch-listing: After completion of work, do walk downs and ensure all punch list items are completed
correctly.
• Requesting in advance all the piping filed materials to ensure proper erection of complete lines.
• Ensure optimum utilization of the man power & equipment deployed.
Scope up to 120, 000 Inch Dia of piping Fabrication, Erection and Reinstatement; Supervising around 400 direct
manpower.
In 2013 I was assigned as
Scope up to 20, 000 Inch Dia of piping hydro test, reinstatement and Pre-commissioning; Supervising around
100 direct manpower.
Petroleum Projects & Technical Consultations Company, PETROJET, Egypt
• Handling Piping erection operations and pipe support installation in accordance with schedule, Procedures,
Specifications, Priorities and availability of issued for Construction Drawings and material availabilities.
• Execution of Piping activities as per the weekly/monthly plans.
• Coordinating the material requesting, handling and surveying to site and follow up the erection status for
all material.
• Providing redesign solutions for the field problems or changes such as (clash, mismatch or lack of
material item).
• Punch-list of test packages before hydro test and after for reinstatement.
• Utilizing the project manpower, resources & equipment in accordance with project schedule.
• Coordinating with Planning for work schedules and priorities.
• Experienced in construction activities of metallic A/G piping and U/G piping materials.
• Familiar with international Codes & Standard such as ASME & ANSI requirements in different activities.
• Ensure all activities carried out by subordinates are performed in accordance with company or client
safety rules.
