Leading and executing procurement and Logistics activities accross ALKAN CIT Group of companies with supervision for team members perfomance for deliverables.
Project types such as mobile stations implementation projects, enterprise and networking projects, construction projects.
o Supply Chain Department activities include Planning, purchasing, production follow up, quality control, warehousing and logistics. Activities are done internally or outsourced.
o Service delivery department activities include contract management with key supplier’s and sub-contractors.
• Manage the departments expenditure within agreed budget and KPIs with Country Manager and/or COO; deliver all associated reports on agreed upon schedule
• Responsible for maintaining and communicating policies and procedures to support service level management, ensuring compliance with 4energy principles
• Ensure cost savings initiatives are undertaken across supply chain while maintaining strict product quality
• Ensure on-time product delivery to customers set delivery priorities and make schedule adjustments to meet timely delivery goals.
• Work with Country Manager/COO to develop and implement stock and purchase policy to meet the needs of production/distribution while monitoring trends to ensure overstocking is minimal
• Ensure work is completed to the required quality, level of service and health & safety
• Ensure customer satisfaction on delivery and regularly report delivery status to customers
• Develop and retain quality conscious, highly motivated and work driven team
• Provide clear direction and management support for team members through regular one to ones, facilitating a participative culture for decision-making and personal development
• Work on strategic projects in Supply Chain as required in consultation/guidance of Country Manager/COO.
- Assistant/deputy procurement & logistics Manager for all foreign procurement and logistics/shipping operations.
- Supervising & Leading team of foreign procurement and logistics for activities execution for Alkan Holding subsidiaries companies.
- Material Planning for Alkan CIT International projects sector - GSM rollout projects.
- Performing all Foreign procurement and logistics/shipping activities/tasks for Alkan CIT International projects sector.
- Supervising import team with foreign procurement team till shipments import in Egypt for ALKAN local companies and closing for supply chain cycle.
- Material planning for GSM international offshore projects using ERP Oracle Application, and Coordinating with Operations department, Technical and Presales teams to obtain Projects Requirements (P&L, BOM).
- Issue Purchase Requests for demanded Material according to safety stock level and re-order point & follow up with Production Sector and purchasing team Local & foreign Suppliers as well as monitoring inventory levels and safety stock levels.
- Monitoring purchase orders prices against budget cost for each project, and monitoring delivery time with procurement team and production factory.
- Provide projects with a Plan and time delivery schedule for the required materials by (Excel & MS project).
- Coordinating Shipping Process with Warehouse team including Packing, Loading & Stuffing.
- Coordinating shipping Process with freight Forwarders and get Shipping quotations from different shipping lines, Selection of proper way of shipping (Ocean, Land & Air shipping), Review and select Forwarders for each shipment, Create and Review shipping Invoices & Booking details for each shipment.
- Create, Review and coordinate the shipping documents as requested from customer PO or as per LC (If there).
- Monitoring and coordinating shipping cost VS budgeted cost, and Follow up shipments till arrival to destination with freight forwarders and project managers.
- Coordinating with Projects team after material delivery to allocate the cost of material for each Project.
- Providing management with Cost Analysis per Project for Actual cost VS Budgeted cost.
Material planning for international projects sector for all related GSM rollout Projects activities.
Coordinating with Projects team and all concerned departments to get projects demands starting from project initiation till closing of supply chain cycle with project managers each in his country.
Following up supply chain cycle till material delivery to destinations.
Closing procurement and supply chain cycle with all parties.
- Coordinating RF works - Implementation of antennas & feeders and its Paths with cable trays paths.
- Implementation of shelters with its all related internal components.
- Coordinating Installation of Power & Earth systems according to operators requirements and Scope of Work.
- Maintaining Sweep test For GSM, and 3G Networks for green field, Roof top and microcell indoor Sites.
- Microcell indoor sites installation and Sweep test for it's components.
- Coordinating sites acceptance with the operators.
