Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of Information management strategies and systems serving facilitation & continual improvement of overall interdepartmental & inter-organizational coordination capacity of the organization on Regional, National & global levels.
• Providing onsite technical support to ongoing & new emergencies through surge missions across the region, covering all aspects in relevance of information management full cycle activities including data collection, processing, analysis, visualization, exchange & dissemination
• Serving as regional Focal point of Information Management Research & development activities with Innovation aiming empowerment of International Cooperation with partner organizations including UN entities, governmental & national authorities, and other non-UN NGO members of international humanitarian community

1) UNOCHA Comprehensive Humanitarian Eye (UCHE), building real-time hub for business intelligence & big-data services supporting strategic decision-making in relevance of humanitarian crises, having main focus on data quality, governance, integration & analysis backed with smart cloud services & edge computing
2) Regional Initiative for Data-Oriented Humanitarian Response, leading technical-oriented coordination on regional level with IM focal points of national governments & partner UN organizations across the middle east; which to serve design, implementation and enhancement of national-level IM management plans & enterprise e-platforms for Humanitarian crisis response & management
Responsibilities :

• Design and implement innovative and cost effective information systems that can facilitate and improve the overall technical, administrative and managerial functions of the organization in the Regional Office and at country level.
• Provide technical consultations for health authorities/ministries across the region
• International Cooperation (with other regional offices/HQ) Focal point of Regional office IT for obtaining & implementing new IT visions for the global level of WHO
