SIAC Holding consists of 3 divisions Construction, Development & Building Materials. SIAC Industrial Construction and Engineering Company, is one of this group & is a leading regional private construction firms in Egypt and the Middle East. Since its launch in 1986, it has executed a diverse and far-reaching portfolio of major construction projects in different sectors of real estate, industrial construction and infrastructure.
My aim is to Increase Sales & Customer Satisfaction
- Utilized strong negotiation and relation-building skills with clients and consultants to clear backlog of 300M EGP within the first year of joining and acquired new contracts worth over EGP 6B for SIAC within a couple of years.
- Effectively demonstrated change management skills to create strategic committees within the company to secure the future and stability of the organization and established clear succession plans, ensuring development of a new organizational chart with 80% of the positions being occupied by persons of a suitable professional caliber.
- Developed a social media campaign on LinkedIn focusing on high-profile ongoing and previous projects clarifying the challenges and the success achieved (on local and regional level, resulting in SIAC Construction page followers on LinkedIn increasing by 500 monthly thereby enhancing the SIAC brand).
- Conducting Egyptian market analysis to reach target projects list and evaluating suitable regional opportunities.
- Increasing the sales and the profitability of the company as well as initiating business plans for target projects and coordinating with the operation and HR departments to fulfil them.
- Investigating projects conditions and applying risk analysis prior to participating in bids.
- Selecting the suitable project team, partners and subcontractors for new projects (on local and international level)
- Managing the bidding/tendering process with the consultants/clients in coordination with the company’s technical and contract departments.

Design Management:
- Effectively defined the product and determined project objectives for design tasks (arch./interior/landscape/retail consultant/mall interior/green council, etc.).
- Participated in identifying project stakeholders’ requirements affecting design and determined their aims.
- Coordinated work between cross-functional teams for design and design update matters.
- Managed progress of design and coordinated meetings while recommending changes, preventive and corrective actions.
- Developed project design according to management/ market updated changes/requirements.
- Authorized the time to start working on construction drawing packages.
Sites Operations Management:
Construction Coordination and Project Management:
- Directed the project planning efforts through The Project Technical Committee, identified the project management plan and participated in managing the constraints to achieve project objectives.
- Ensured common understanding of the work for design matters until completion of execution at site; implemented approved changes and highlighted preventive and corrective actions.
- Implemented contingency plans or workarounds as required; maintained control over the project by measuring performance according to the management plans and against performance measurement baselines, and determined variances and if corrective action was needed.
- Assisted top management to fulfill target staging/phasing requirements.
Regularity Affairs Coordination:
- Supported regulatory affairs from technical aspects to meet project plans/goals.
Legal Affairs Coordination:
- Provided support to legal affairs from technical aspects to meet project plans/goals.
Bidding and Contract Administration:
- Managed and reviewed bids and quotes (RFPs) and rank contractors as required and performed contract administration for design contracts.
Quality Control:
- Controlled scope, schedule, cost and quality as per their baselines; confirmed tenants’/clients’ works were completed as per requirements and gained their formal acceptance for the product/fit out (fit out through Alkan R.E.).
Administrative:
- Guided, assisted, communicated, led, negotiated and coached subordinates as well as sent and received information.
Sales and Customers Technical Service, Control and Handing Over:
- Coordinated with site team on various aspects related to tenants’ requirements/inquiries until the handover of their premises.
Property Management:
- Responsible for operating costs and preparing operations and budgets as well as operations performance and improvements.
- Developed and maintained systems to improve quality, efficiencies and standards and managed, developed and trained the operations team.
- Applied strategies to enhance operations performance, audit and guide operation team and FM performance.

- Working on handing over Semouha branch by October 2008 (the first Citi compact furniture branch in the world - 300 m2)
