Managing the construction, operation and maintenance of a 340 Km water pipeline with 3 pumping stations and different facilities.
Job responsibilities are:
• to administer the following project contracts:
1.Common Terms Agreement (lenders to project company)
2.Project Agreement (ministry to project company)
3.EPC Contract (project company to EPC contractor)
• Draft and review all the contractual correspondences with the project parties
• Claims review, assessment and verification for approval
• Variation Orders review, assessment and verification for approval.
• Contracts Administration
• Subcontracts review
• Claims and supplementary works
• Quantities review
• Variation Orders preparation
• Invoicing
• Estimation and control of back-charge and insurance claims
• Negotiation of subcontractors’ claims
• Preparation of Claim Reports in conclusion with company procedures
• Coordination of claim reports with (Contracts department, Legal/Insurance department, Engineering department and Procurement department) in main office
• Following up purchase orders placement/ reordering process for replacements to damaged materials with procurement department via SAP system and company own database
• Cost coding control and closing out claims after reimbursement of costs
• Reporting the Site Key Commercial and Contractual Indicators to Uhde main office
• Control of claims
• Reviewing correspondences regarding potential claims
• Preparation of claims against subcontractors
• Prepare arguments for the rejection / negotiation of subcontractors’ claims
