Fabric should be finished right first time & same every time
This is my mission, ensuring that every specific fabric should be finished first
time and every time to meet customer requirements - if applicable- and if not,
the customer must be informed while the fabric is still greige.
This will allow us to avoid costly refinishes and save money, time and company
resources
In order to achieve this my mission is to:
1- process "wet relaxation test (WRT) sample" to determine relaxed specs
( zero state width & GSM) of the fabric, which gives a clue about the expected
finish specs of the fabric and compare tis to customer requirements
2- according to the WRT results, Heat setting (if required) and finishing
parameters are determined and tested
3- these parameters -after being approved- are documented and delivered to
production supervisors to apply it every time this specific fabric is processed
4- Approving Final finishing lab results (Width, GSM, Spirality and shrinkage)
and then the fabric is delivered to the finished fabric store to be delivered to the
customer
Leading shift labors and machine operators to achieve or exceed the daily production target.
Assuring that shift production meets quality standards and required specs.
Comunicating department head to update production status.
Resolving any production issues that may occur during the shift.
Distributing jobs on department machines.
Assigning shift labors each in the place where he can do best.
Reporting to department head
